By “nothing major” I mean I would never be convinced someone is scum from that alone but it can be a point in a richer case.

You wouldn’t purposefully do a reads list different than you would as town, but it may come from a different mindset that would lead to that. Have you ever done this as town?

Is there some reason DDL can’t be scum independent of slimer? I think he is.

However, I do intend to re-read to see if slimer’s alignment can give me some insight I didn’t previously have, which is usually the case.

No, but I'd expect more introspection given a wrong read than you've had here. Or at least waiting until after the reread to place that vote. It just is a very dissonant post.

DDL wasn't on the mislynch wagon. Your expression of disappointment also makes me suspicious.

This puts us in the same boat for following the claimed town and I'm okay with that. I don't want to follow a wrong dead man's words into D2, though.

I wasn’t following Salamence20. I was following my own scumread that pre-existed his. I have no need to sheep and trust my own reads more, though I was happy he found slimer scummy as well, that’s always helpful.

Being wrong on one doesn’t mean he’s continually wrong. He’s probably right on DDL IMO.


That Looker post is pretty bad though. It’s abdicating responsibility of the mislynch while pushing another.

I mean from your POV you wouldn’t know that, I understand that, but I do.

I don't see it as abdicating anything; I see it as the opposite. If you had voted someone on slimer's wagon (to include me), I wouldn't be suspicious of you. But your ~expression of ~disappointment isn't an adequate enough penalty for me. Especially to just jump back in the saddle (with an immediate vote) with no further discussion.

Of course you may not agree, but does it make sense?

Is it a reasonable expectation to think this lynch will go through without discussion?
