not at all, and actually pretty much the opposite. in the mod thread you'll see a bit of a longer post about it, but the bottom line is that linguistic analysis is basically the entire reason i thought of this kind of setup in the first place. comparing post times to try to analyze schedules was less so a part of the explicit intention, but that's not to say that i really have a huge problem with it.

Man. I really did not want to roll scum in this game.

It's a pretty uphill battle when Kirk posts in the middle of the night and Karma is clearly not a native speaker, too.

Oh yeah, and I agonized over alts for a long time and couldn't come up with anything because I suck at alt hunting

The only thing I came up with that made any sense at all was Kirk = Almost50 but I still don't think that's very likely to be right.

I think if this game was rerun it'd be best to recommend entrants from the same ~40% of longitude and to lock the thread for like 10 hours a day or so.

That would help with the timestamp thing.

The ESL thing is brutal. Mafia could fake it, but it'd be pretty tedious. Would it be crazy to modkill people for bad grammar? IDK
