They can be. Idunno if you saw my MtG thread but I came out of a scum hydra with them. Their scumplay is fairly green. TBH when we hydra'd, they told me something that I needed to look out and to kill them on site if they do it but I don't recall what that is for the life of me.
I think I have an idea on how to catch scum!Taly if it exists in this game but if that world exists, it won't be until a wolf before him dies.

basically, are you taking to me in good faith here? i feel like ive had more posts directed to or about you than otherwise, so i want to know if the distance is intentional.

but my posts so far have actually helped me solve including this interaction

my townread on you right now is genuine, it's not 100% strong or concrete, but your vibe is a huge difference from what i observed in our scum hydra. you take initiative but your disposition to the plist does not hinge on other peoples' input, and after rereading your entry, i dont think youre trying to bend the plist to your will. youre making valid points on how to achieve town's wincon.

im probably gonna dump a spew when im not just solving casually to retain sanity.

OWER seems similar to the last game I played with him but I feel like I need more from him to solidify that read.
Titus also dithering about like this seems scum.
Her later reads don't inspire any confidence.
I've played with her before and this definitely doesn't feel right - iirc she's incredibly abrasive and obnoxious to the point where I nearly blacklisted her.
I actually still had half a mind to opt out when I saw her in the list but I'm here so meh.

I feel like I addressed most of the reasons but there's still stuff there and it's lost on me.
I'm mostly caught up at this point - I think I might be with reck in terms of ignoring the plan to tell everyone where we're going.

So I've yet to see an argument for why the game would be designed around tasks being pointless, despite people asserting this to be true.

And if only the few claim that have claimed now, we're essentially guaranteeing 2 NKs with no one looking particularly suspicious for them. I think claiming where we are going N1 makes sense for at least a lot of players.

I think I'm kind of a special case as outlined before and I still might want to claim it depending.

Like are people clear that that's the cost of not claiming anything? And that's worth not giving scum the information?

Or do people disagree with that conclusion?

There was a lot of nonsense in those pages but that's what I gleaned from my catchup.
I definitely feel like I missed a thing or two but I've completely forgotten what they were.
I need to double back and check again at some point because I remember feeling they were important when I had them but I didn't write them down like the fool that I am.
I did note that HC has a wagon on him and I'd like to know where that's coming from.
I feel like the answer might be somewhat obvious in hindsight but I still want it spelled out for me.
PEDIT - I don't feel like that's the point people are making - I think the point is that banking the entire game on doing tasks faster than scum can kill us is an inherently bad strategy simply based on how balancing works.
If there's something else I missed in regards to that argument, let me know because I don't see it.

We could like, still leash though.
"Priority rooms for tonight are caf, nav, weapons, reactor" and then everyone picks from the list.

But as long as a few players ignore that and scum go to other rooms, no one is accountable and they still get 2 NKs most likely.

It's frustrating because I feel like people's eyes started glazing over at the mech talk and they just shut their brains down and stopped thinking about it.

That's an argument against no-elim, not an argument against claiming though.

Although there's still reason to no-elim D1 but not on later days.

Sure I mean that's the cost if they choose to do that. Which might be dumb. But also thinking that we can all group and do tasks safely is maybe also dumb, who knows. I'll be grouping at least, the less I have to think about mech the better.

I was leaning town there but I feel like that's just coming up with excuses later.
I think I really need more engagement from her considering it feels like a storyline is being developed there and I don't like it.
