Because I thought claiming would neutralize me. I didn't think I was going to die at that point. I claimed when I thought I had to to save me.

By the time I logged in I think someone might even have said I wasn't at E-1. I haven't checked. But I claimed once I felt like I had to or die. If I didn't claim, I didn't think I was going to die.

So... I'm on V/LA right now... I'd really appreciate not getting hammered until I have a chance to figure out why all of a sudden I have 3 votes on me and respond. I've been able to read the thread a bit but haven't had the chance to really understand whats going on other than counting the votes. An initial thought is that I find the wagon pretty opportunistic... a few of you mention me as a POE choice and then he waltzes in and says nah, lets get Safebet out of here... I'm surprised mikul hasn't just claimed intent already... At least give me until my V/LA is over to respond.

I think the quick-wagon probably means if you're scum, you're being bussed for sure. if you're town, there's obviously scum on your wagon (not me though!)

either way, I don't see a great need to drag the day out. it's basically you today and if you flip town, a decision between quiet and petapan tomorrow.

if you do come back and want to live, suggest you make your best case on petapan-scum.

No I don't, tbh. I reread D1 right before I went on V/LA and the 3 scum thing is just not happening as a slip. I think you really think I'm scum. It is impressive the manner at which you walked into the game and basically everyone just fell at your feet.

I’m not hammering until you are back from vla. I wasn’t voting until I was off mountain today and could re-read properly either way. I’m okay with a safebet vote, but it comes off the back of the mikul lunar voting block, who partially credit it safe scum because they think I’m a good partner.

I don’t see how shorter days benifits town. I also want to hear more from peta on this development.

if Peta were actually attuned to this game from a town mindset I feel he'd be less willing to accept it. He said today he's willing to make a case on someone (which, in terms of meta, I don't think peta likes doing that shit lol)

much easier as scum than as town. but it depends on passionate engagement/strength of conviction and i felt that a vote on day 2 shouldn't be some weak bullshit. irony being, i was going to present a case on safebet (asi already mentioned) based on how his stances evolved as day 1 went down. now, i come back and find him being voted, and i find myself asking, what's the case?

The biggest thing I want to ask you is

Do I think I'm being short-sighted about some newbies? Right now I'm still sitting at Mikul/Quiet being town and then who's left? Lunar? BM replaced the other newbie slot and he came in swinging. I never fully resolved Illwei in my mind, but I find myself alright with what BM has brung to the table. Read over that post I made and tell me what scenario we could be in, because your post to me indicates hesitance on safebet
