I dunno Ydrasse. Maybe me defending myself in 943 is counterproductive. What I should & want to make clear is how earnestly I want your perspective and want you in the game, and how lacking I felt the game was when that perspective was missing. I can & do often disagree with your perspective but that doesn't mean I don't respect it (and although it might have seemed otherwise, that's exactly why I reacted so strongly to the low bar for Hectic) or desire it.

If you're town I'm wrong and dreadfully so, but that desire for more of your play is sincere, and maybe I should just be more straightforward rather than strictly interrogative.

Maybe there is genuinely nothing else I can do and you're just not going to have the energy for it regardless, but yeah, I want you here more often and wish you could play, and I am not the only one.

I'm going to dip for a bit, dunno how long, but I really want to take the time to give you more space to play how you want to if you feel up to it without facing any further vote pressure from me, even if you don't wind up using it.

i really appreciate that, prism -- i value your perspectives a lot but it's hard for me personally to overcome the barrier that is "someone reads me wrong" that annoys me especially when i'm town because i feel there's a distinction in my town / scum play but, maybe at this point i've hit the threshold of the latter where i can't fall back on that.

given the extension, i'll try to give something more in a few hours if my glass mentality doesn't shatter. i'm amenable to rereading monkey currently. in truth there's nothing i feel very strongly about this game in way of scumreads, and even my townreads have felt on shaky ground from things i've seen. there are a lot of gut feelings without substance to them but when i try to read through to find substance it doesn't fit right, so. struggling. i'll try again later.

Skitt basically johnny was a consensus PoE scumread and monkey replaced him and started being somewhat towny. Prism has gone back and forth for a lot of people especially me but she's probably not getting limmed here. Other lim options are child and I guess your slot/t3? I'd like to get your thoughts but I'm leaning towards voting monkey atp

gonna iso hem and johnny real quick

johnny is like prototypical 'drops out of the game due to low activity' player
were people scumreading his slot because he was inactive or cuz of the content while he was here
because the former i'd argue it looks nai

PoE and johnny usually gives me some towny signs when he's town

Hectic I go back and forth on but atm I leantown just because ceding me as town at the point he did was not advantageous.

i iso'd him and i think his frustration at not getting to play is +town (albeit not impossible to fake) but i wouldn't inherently call it scummy

I get it, he did post content though and I remember identifying johnny as town pretty quickly in the past

Hectic has felt towny to me at a couple points earlier but is solidly in my PoE at this point and I've never seen his scumgame

ok so i think that hectic's reads are somewhat political:
if he's scum, there's a few different people in this game that he pretty much has to townread (ydrasse and infinity, maybe lukewarm but i don't have enough context on him so not sure)

i don't think that he wanted to scumread prism but upon prism scumreading him, he felt he needed to push back and scumread prism in turn. i think that prism seemed to have backed off a bit right before hectic townread her / dropped the scumread - i think he didn't actually want to push her and if she wasn't going to actively push him he felt safe sticking her back in a townbin and dropping the fight (which is indeed what seemed to have killed the momentum of the 1v1).

he's had a consistent pool of johnny-slot, t3, and fairy who i feel like he's trying to find reasons to push

i don't like his progressions here really

It's a more defensive mindset which can come from town but also comes from scum a whole lot of the time
