I know people lose their concept of time while on COLLEGE WINTER BREAK WOOOOO, but this game hasn't even been up a full
work-week
, let alone a weekend. My influence on this game is going to very much be channeled through Fate. My issues with the Hydra QT are less ideological ('lil bit) and more practical: the QT is more than 350 posts, way more than any analytical mind can process without exploding or being fed summary.

I don't see any rules explitcly prohibiting the re-post of QT content, just between mod <-> player. So, here's a repost of the summary I asked for in the QT:

Nuwen wrote:"Reviewed in all aspects." - be sure to ask Reck about DOING IT LIVE a couple drinks in at rererereckoning.

We're going to assume randomization, because that's all there can be. The most severe scenarios are n-1_scum and all_town

the idea behind massclaiming is that any information shared here isn't really action-able, because it points to a source in a smaller pool of players.

if it hasn't been done yet, don't mention this qt in the game thread at all please. if reck hasn't explicitly mentioned that this qt exists, no player should either.

Nuwen wrote:w/e

I'll take cliffs notes on 25 pages. I don't care about details or quotes or posts. Maybe a sentence that summarizes how each thing between commas came to pass if you want to help me.

mod iso says the first people in this game wagoned is Pretentiousdra, and then the next wave for zoidberg, and then BT did something, wyrd enters game.

Do you see HUGE SCUM SLIPS?

Do you see Nuwen ADVOCATING A MASSCLAIM (if you're following along: I mentioned a hydra massclaim because it came up earlier in the QT, and was the only 'ping' I picked out while skimming)?

I'mma tell you what you do see: CHESSKID trying to be brazen about his scumplay, because it's
all
he knows how to do ("Chesskid and LLD wouldn't just start bussing for no reason... and then he wouldn't try to shoot his scum partner and claim vig, right?"). He's hoping that if he hells SCUMSLIPSCUMREAD FATE ABSENT AND AFRAID, the momentum will be enough to dampen any important questions.

It's funny because for all the
EXTRMELY DAMNING
things Wyrd has done in the hydra QT,
Nuwen
is the first person to do the legwork research and post snippets of the same QT. I don't even think he's trying to paraphrase convincingly, which tells us that he's not really that focused on broadcasting a SLIP. Real conviction goes the extra mile.

Oh fuck no, man, I am not touching this they-said, they-said hydra bullshit with a ten foot fucking pole.

Like I trust any of the hydras enough to not be playing the fucking telephone game with the town.

honestly, it makes me just want to start lynching downward from the hydras to get them the fuck out

ThunderHog wrote:Now, if we want to start a P-hydra wagon - I'm in. It's true that I do have a town-lean read on him, but this entire thread would be so much more bearable were he not in it - and in a game this large I'd be willing to sacrifice a town-lean for a much better rest of the game.

VOTE: Thunderhog

Getting tired of this line of reasoning. Waaah the thread is too long. Yeah. It is. And it kind of sucks. but you don't win games by simply lynching annoying people. He set up the whole "I hate hydras" thing in his first fluffy post, then said he'd "support" a wagon he does not support as scum. DGB also is guilty of this, but I get town from her.

Wyrd wrote:besides the "lets get reads off a wagon and see reactions" bit that I THOUGHT it was, but it went way past that with the "lets gambit and say fate scumslipped and insta lynch him" and the "FATESCUM AVOIDED THE THREAD" points which are bullshit and no where near representative of my scum play.

if you originally thought it was a reactions shit, why did you still refuse to post in the qt? why was your first reaction to the wagon to try to defend yourself in thread and ignore the hydra qt which was THE ROOT OF YOUR FUCKING WAGON? do you see the gap in logic im having trouble with here? why has it taken you until after you exploded in the thread to even think about bothering to try and have a proper discussion in the qt?
