I have never suggested lynching a Trium and I consider it a slip that you call Miztef one. I have only ever suggested lynching a claimed Trium.Beep! Beep! wrote:I don't understand how anyone could get away with suggesting we should lynch Trium players. CES did just that. There is no rhyme or reason for lynching a Trium unless we have something solid.
Why? Because I think he's scum. Still do. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I do believe the point of this game is lynching scum.

Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

Firstly, CES, in the above quotation, you claim to never have suggested lynching a claimed Trium. If that is true, what does this post of yours mean?Cogito Ergo Sum wrote:I have never suggested lynching a Trium and I consider it a slip that you call Miztef one.I have only ever suggested lynching a claimed Trium.
I understood this to mean that you wished to lynch a claimed member of the Triumvirate, namely, Miztef. When you vote for Miztef, and say that it is worth it to lynch a member of the Triumvirate, I think most people would take this as a very firm suggestion to lynch a claimed Trium.Cogito Ergo Sum wrote:I've read the entire game and frankly, if we don't lynch Miztef, we'll never lynch any claimed member of the triumvirate. I think it's worth it.
Vote: Miztef
Secondly, you say that you consider it a slip that I "call Miztef one," meaning that I called Miztef a Triumvirate. Is this the quote you are referring to?
Please explain how my not wanting to claim a claimed member of the Triumvirate yesterday constitutes a "slip." Note that I referred to Miztef, correctly, as a CLAIMED Triumvirate. Where is the slip?Beep! Beep! wrote:Miztef: will not vote against Trium claim today.
It appears to me that you are attempting to build a case based on the distinction between a claimed Triumvirate, and other species of Triumvirate (such as dead ones, confirmed ones - if confirmation is truly possible). OF COURSE we are talking about claimed Triumvirates. It's a given.
And you have tried to push the idea that Triumvirates (claimed ones, as opposed to dead ones, or "confirmed" ones) should be lynched.

No, I don't. I actually say quite clearly that I did suggest it.Beep!Beep! wrote:Firstly, CES, in the above quotation, you claim to never have suggested lynching a claimed Trium.
No. Post 976.Beep! wrote:Secondly, you say that you consider it a slip that I "call Miztef one," meaning that I called Miztef a Triumvirate. Is this the quote you are referring to?
Sure it's obvious when you think about it. But that doesn't mean there isn't a subconscious distinction that scum might make. And that's what slips are about: the subconscious.Beep! wrote:It appears to me that you are attempting to build a case based on the distinction between a claimed Triumvirate, and other species of Triumvirate (such as dead ones, confirmed ones - if confirmation is truly possible). No. Strawman. I've pushed the idea that Miztef should be lynched.Beep! wrote:And you have tried to push the idea that Triumvirates (claimed ones, as opposed to dead ones, or "confirmed" ones) should be lynched.

I still don't like Beep's little explosion where she says we're all idiots (I'm paraphrasing here) and that the person who needs to be lynched is "obvious." It seems like her little explosion was an attempt to deflect any scrutiny against her. That's why my vote remains on her.Mastermind of Sin wrote:Rishi, do you have a better case on someone else?

flea, mos, skitzer, miztef.
you guys have been in this game the longest. Do you support a CES lynch? If not, am I wrong in pursing it in your opinion?

MOS, why do you keep asking people for reasons for votes without contributing your own?
My reasons for voting CES are because he's obviously scum to me. This is how he plays when he's scum.

I can't tell you if you're wrong in pursuing a CES lynch if I don't know *why* you are pursuing it.
Personally, I don't really understand wtf CES is doing in this game, but Beep's play hasn't really struck me as scum so far, and I'd like to think of myself as a fairly good judge of her play.
