It's not about giving scum reason to kill you - it's about you using your near conf town status to try and influence the game in what we know is a town driven agenda.

In my experience, conftowns leading the game is more often than not a net negative for town win percentage. Too often, being conftown warps people's perspective, makes them overconfident in reads, and allows mafia to play around them and manipulate the direction they will take through strategic positioning. Especially with the game still being this early, I think that the strength in masons lies not in being a loud voice, but in adding numbers to the townblock in order to push town-driven wagons and town-driven ideas forward to prevent then from being drowned out. This helps to counter the natural social influence that scum tends to have in the early part of a large game.

Besides, we eliminated mafia yesterDay so I'm not at all sure what you're complaining about.

This logic is flawed because it assumes that you would flip first, which didn't happen. I can't say how predictable it was that it wouldn't happen, but it wasn't ever my impression that it was the most likely result.

You need to understand this game FMPOV. I have been getting scum read/pushed from a lot of different directions. It's extremely difficult for me to keep my focus in one place and even maintain consistent reads at some points of the game.

Once DP started pushing me and Mislim Bait, they took my attention away from Math.

Not necessarily. My notes are "Dislike Frog and Luke, feels like ~350ish is s/s [\n] JF TR Luke?" so I've just been meaning to ask about it. Something wasn't rubbing right around then, but I suspect a lot of you have a better feel for him as a player than I do.

This is only meaningful to the extent that it implies scum were wagoning you to try to save MathBlade. The people voting you, from what I can see in VCs, were: MathBlade, Roden, Dancing Puppets, Mislim Bait, and Cat Scratch Fever.

It's very possible (I think even most likely) that all of those besides MathBlade are town. Bella also voted c+g instead of joining either wagon when you and MathBlade were the two leading wagons.

I'm like 80% sure Math is town and BBT is scum. Dunn was shot N1. He was the first voter on BBT. Math has a habit of rubbing people the wrong way. He's easy to provoke. The other voter on BBT is a mason.

Flipping BBT also completely reveals the gamestate D1.
