Glorious Caesar greets the new Senators, and presumes that they shall serve the patricians they represent with dedication and wit.

We are most pleased with the foiling of whatever Barbarian plots were attempted in the night, and have little regret for the condemnation of the late Senator Sondam. While their innocence has since been proven, We feel that they were more useful to Our cause as a momentary diversion in the arena than any efforts they attempted in the Senate chambers.

We shall collect Ourself and present Our cause against the heathens Vecna and Leonshade later this day.

Nobody wanted to go for my top tier choices, nor did anybody want to listen to my defense (or rather, JaeReed's defense) of Sondam. I was starting to get paranoid of the slot myself, so I didn't mind them getting lynched, even if they were not an ideal choice. I think Dave is town here, and I was fine with lynching Sondam instead of Dave. Today I would like to lynch in CloudKicker/Brian/Caesar, maybe Gin (currently KidAmn IIRC).

We bid the criminal Leonshade to silence, as his voice grates upon Our Ears.

We are quite concerned that certain Senators are using the spectre of Barbarian influence as a pretext to deny information to the Senators. The resolution proposed would be of great value in assessing claims made, and is of practically no detriment. We dismiss any fearmongering to the contrary with contempt.

Yeah, looks like it!

Zero deaths with a vig in play is weird, I think the scum either has the vig, or a doc.

Talking about lynches, not NKs.

I don't think fakeclaims are likely in this setup, as scum would risk a town counterclaim if they fakeclaimed having a wonder.

Alisae wrote:Oh yeah btw I'm pretty sure Leon is scum now considering his Sondam vote.

Sondam was going to be lynched with or without my vote, I merely sped up the process.

First emphasis doesn't sound particularly like something a town-aligned player would say.
Second quote's emphasis sounds kinda contradictory/off to me, but I haven't read enough of the game yet to put it in context, so I'll let that lie for now and come back to it if needs be.
The Nay votes make very little sense to me, but I tend to come at Mafia from a position of "give me as much mod-confirmed info as possible no matter how irrelevant it might seem" (and the fact that this choice is even presented makes me think that the info
is
pertinent and useful in some way to town.

Ah I thought you were going to mybad.
Yeah I don't feel comfortable giving scum an idea of what was built and what wasn't.

What's the argument for yea, besides "makes fakeclaims a bit harder", when fakeclaims are unlikely in this setup anyway? Town receives minimal benefit, whereas scum know which wonders are in play that they didn't build.

nobody tell alisae that i havent read anything but OP.

================

@ali, so youre basically saying that you think that scum isnt going to have any idea whats been built so far
and that you think that the build history of players is going to affect that significantly?
the only negative i can really see there is that scum might have a better idea of what kind of stuff they have available to build, but then so does town, no? seems less like a general boon to scum and more like a general boon to all players if im understanding it correctly.

on the other end, if we get a scum flip are we not going to be getting information on what scum has been trying to build so far this game? do you think that information is potentially valuable or no?

also, dont read above the equal signs.

I'm going to assume you're joking about reading an entire 400 page game in the course of a weekend, because the alternative is casting aspersions regarding your social life. And I'd hate to do that.
