hey, not sure if you'll go for these or if this is in the right place, but here are a few game ideas for themed games.

Clue/Cluedo - Each character would have a name for a color (Prof. Plum, Col. Mustard, etc) and multiple people who killed Mr. Body. Each could have a special ability depending on what they are, for example a Doctor would take the Doctor Role, the Colonel could be the gunkeeper and be able to inspect people's weapons, etc...

Fire Emblem - Honestly nothin different except some titles, mercenaries would be the mafia, summoners could bring back people, there would be two who dont know about each other, and have both vote for the same person to be brought back. would start after 5 people died. Saints could use staves to either play doctor, cancel someone's turn, whatever.

How about this?
Kingdom Mafia (11 players)


1 Beloved Princess
1 Advisor (Governor)
1 Bodyguard
1 Vigilante

4 Vanilla Townies

1 Mafia Roleblocker
2 Mafia Goons

Now, the Advisor (same actions as governor: prevents lynches) knows who the Beloved Princess is. The Bodyguard also knows who the Princess is. The Advisor and Bodyguard do not know each other, and the Princess (or Prince, I suppose) knows who both are. No talking between them.

I'm open to changing this a bit, but I wanted a set up where a princess could actually be used, and not be as much a hinderance to the town. So, the Advisor can prevent lynches during the day, and Bodygaurd at night (unless there is a super townie who they want to protect instead).

How about this?

Tracker Town (Night start)

11 Trackers
1 Mafia Tracker
2 Mafia Goons


basically, everyone is a toned down cop, where the result could be helpful if a tracker follows someone who targets the killed player, but it also allows for the possibility of false suspicion on another tracker who targeted the dead player. The 2 Goons are actually a liability, because in the beginning, one will not have an action to perform, since there is only one kill per night. thoughts?

alright, I'm determined to get one open setup in.

Triplets:

3 Mafia A goons
3 Mafia B goons
3 Mafia C goons
3 Bulletproof Townies

The townies are bulletproof because without the night protection, it seems there would be little to no chance. During the day, the most "town like" player may even be lynched, because they cannot be killed at night, and all mafias will need them dead. During the night, if a mafia shoots someone in the night, and they do not die, a member of that mafia could claim this and get support from other mafias, however, out himself as a killable target. Those are pretty much all of the tricks there, and if this seems to favor town, maybe we could change one mafia goon from each into a godfather.

1 Politician (can buy 1 person's vote each night)
2 Governors (can prevent a person's lynch, gets to save each person once)
1 FBI Agent (investigates someone each night, is told if they are a public official (politician or governor)
5 Law Abiding Citizens ('nilla townie)
1 Mafia Politician
1 Mafia Governor
2 Rabble-rousers (Mafia Goons)

Pretty much. I mean, if it comes down to near endgame, he could help the town by knowing who can prevent scum from winning, even if there is a majority of scum. Best way for me to say it is if there is a choice between lynching a townie or a power role, the FBI agent could help. Then again, I don't mind throwing the role out either.

how about this? I usually play a version like this at parties with my friends. Feel free to change numbers of each faction

"Not Dead Yet"

3 Red Mafia Goons

1 Reviver (aka Dr. Frankenstein, aka Dr. Frankie)
1 Doctor
7 Vanilla Townies



The game starts on Night 0. possibly people die.
On Day 1, it is announced who "died" but not their alignments. If they would like to talk during the day they can, but cannot vote, and do not count towards voting majority. Someone is lynched.
On Night 1, Dr. Frankie can pick one of the N0 targets or the D1 lynch to come back to life the next day. Frankie can also choose not to save anyone. Also on Night 1, there are more "deaths".
On Day 2, it is revealed who Frankie saved. That person is back in the game, alive and voting. The other two (or all three, if no one is saved) have their alignment revealed, and are dead for good. Repeat.
