Would anyone be interested in playing a mafia game based on The Apprentice Adept series by Piers Anthony? (Split Infinity, Red Adept, Juxtoposition etc etc)
It would feature Frame shifts from Phaze (where only magic functions) to Proton (Where only Science functions) as well as a mode (method of usage) to each power. It features the Adepts, magic users that are all extremely different in flavor, citizens with access to all kinds of gadgets, unicorns, werewolves, androids, self willed machines and more (well...maybe not all in the mini, but those are possibilities)
I am currently balancing a setup to get reviewed by someone as a mini. Has anyone heard of these books?

Multiple problems:In post 3895, AurorusVox wrote:Has anyone ever run a game where instead of posting on the player's accounts, you have the players post as their roles? E.g. say AVox is the Cop, he posts on an account called Cop? Same for Goons, VTs etc. Except that when you vote to lynch (or submit the target for the NK) you have to use player names? And if not, would this be something people think would be interesting/feasible?
I have a unique posting style...which I could mask if I could but it would be fairly hard for someone to keep up a duplicated effort all the time.
Additionally I think you underestimate how valuable a confirmed town voice is for town. I think if you did something like this you would have to buff the hell out of mafia.
Also what exactly would be the point of posting as a mafia account?
When (reverse?) mass claim around you would have to claim as a name and that leads to all sorts of previous player meta to establish identity.
A similar sort of theme game style has been done sort of before. The moderator has 12 accounts that all had names of fictional characters that everyone played under. The SK was actually a cultist that would take over another account and post for them."Against logic there is no armor like ignorance." - Sajin
