SO, have you taken a look at Mini 188 (Hold'em Mafia)? That had a similar mechanic-somebody with a large number of posts could attempt to go all-in against somebody with a smaller number of posts ending the day as an attempted lynch. I do think that your idea is quite different (and possibly better balanced).- Thok

I'm claiming "Music of Squaresoft" (Square?/Square-Enix?) as a theme (although it probably won't be run for a couple months). Interesting idea but the randomness isn't a good idea. (I'd hate to be a townie who lynched the SK in a three person endgame, and then lost the coinflip to become the new SK.) It seems like an interesting idea viper, but you should try to tweak things so it's more balanced and so that town doesn't win easily. Viper-I suggest looking over the wiki to see what people have done before. For example, here is a link to All Roles.

Random Idea I had, that I'm not sure I have time/the desire to work out so I'm releasing it into the public domain.
Random day Mafia
Instead of game play happening day 1, day 2, day 3, it happens day 1, day 5, day 7, day 8, day 12 etc (day number advancing pseudo-randomly). This idea is obviously paired with various variant forms of odd night and even night roles (so for example, a role that only works if the night is a multiple of 3, or if a cop who only investigates if the night is a prime).

I can see it going either way. Take a look at GL-amb's run some large themed Deep South games.
