I'd really like a Mental Hospital Mafia...

Patients pitted against Psychiatrists - why not?

Orderlies and Nurses on one side or the other...
Patient's families...

Mind-altering medications can be administered...

I can see many posting restrictions, none indicative of being a patient or a doctor!

Inability to post anything but emoticons, and cast votes...
Paranoia (FOS in every post?)...
Manic-depression (posts every second day?)...
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (must include a specific word in every post?)...
God-complex
Hearing voices (every sentence ends with a question mark?)
Multiple-personalities
An Evil Doctor conducting unethical experiments (kinda like the serial killer, eh?)
A masochist (acting cummy on purpose)

The possibilities are endless.

I hope I am posting this in the right place.

I have an idea for a "Dream Team" Mafia where self-selected Mafia teams would have to submit applications detailing a plan of action. A "jury of peers" consisting of myself (ah just kidding) or (rather) a few people would review the plans, and select the best mafia team/strategy to be the "Dream Team" Mafia.

No slacker scum, no scum "winging it."

Uber-devious scum. La scum de la scum.

Other than that, it should run with standard Townie roles.

So, wouldn't the town just keep lynching the most experienced players, since they are the most likely ones to come up with a really good plan?

I thought of that. Part of the strategy would be for the Dream Team to pick players that no one would think would want to band together. Besides, the Town wouldn't want to sacrifice its most experienced players...

Seol's model at Misetings in interesting. However, I envisioned something a little different.

The scum would secretly pick each other, and submit a "game plan" BEFORE SIGNUPS. The best plan is selected by a jury of peers, haha, and a Dream Team is born. It's really about the cleverest plan, and a clever scum team should include a variety of player types and experience anyway. Once a scum team is chosen, they slip in their signup amongst voluteer cannon fodder... I should think a game with 20 players 5 Mafia should work.

I would like to run:

FOOD FIGHT MAFIA

Set in a Cafeteria! Lots of day action involving tossing parts of your lunch at other players with unexpected consequences.

toss: potato chips

launch: granola bar

catapult: mashed potatoes

shake and throw: soft drink

Who is the Mafia? The nerds? The snooty kids? The lunch ladies? Play to find out.

The game where the kids don't die, but get LIFETIME SUSPENSIONS!
