i have a mafia ive been thinking about recently and wondered if anyone else even knew anything about the subject.
The subject would be the novels by Clive Cussler about his hero Dirk Pitt. has anyone read any of those books? because i think if i can get enough people that might be my next mini theme.V/LA every weekend for awhile.

If this isn't taken(doubt it) Id like to claim a theme game based upon The New England Patriots American Football team. Still not sure if it really needs to be a theme only the roles are themed currently. Otherwise its a normal in terms of rules. I've been trying to comeup with a game mechanic involving the rules of american football but no inspiration has struck as of yet. I'll keep y'all posted on it. Just kinda wanted to gauge reaction to the idea.V/LA every weekend for awhile.

seeing as how I've been out of the loop for awhile i wanted to verify an idea i have. A three game LOTR mafia based upon the books and possibly the movies. After I ran the Hobbit I learned many things to make a LOTR game(s) better balanced and I've written a small amount for fellowship so I just wanted to be sure it hasn't been run in my absence and people would be interested.V/LA every weekend for awhile.

There was a game based around the Minas Tirith sequence (won by the SK I believe), and there's not so much a "rule" as there is a general sense that running the same theme/source too often will burn people out on it. There's certainly been several HHGTTG games, and at least one UN before, right?mikehart wrote:seeing as how I've been out of the loop for awhile i wanted to verify an idea i have. That said, mike I wouldstronglyencourage you to find a co-moderator/reviewer for your LOTR games if you do go forward. I don't want to see you or your players disappointed with all your hard work because you overlooked something.V/LA every weekend for awhile.
