Sorceror Mafia:

There are two equal sides, but they have no one knows who's on which side. The goal is to try and kick off the other side completely.

Each night, a person can pick one school of spell (transformation, restoration, destruction, things like that). There are different spells for each school, and they get a random one (i.e. Transformation: Transform into a dragon and kill one person). These would be the night powers.

Then by day, lynching occurs normally.

I'm thinking maybe I could modify it to run as a Mish-Mash sort of thing; that way I wouldn't have to wait to go through the mini theme list again. I'd probably remove the lynching, and it would be something similar to sissy fight.

Anything with some sort of creature or mythology I'd definately go for. Also, law firm would be interesting, but I think it could be evolved into more than just a normal game. However, rival cults would be an interesting innovation.

1. Family Guy (I found out while reading some of this thread that this had already been mentioned. )

I'm a fan and I have yet to play in one. So I'd play. If you wanted to lure others, maybe you should add some crazy role mechanic or something.

6. Mutiny (Not based of Pirates of the Car. like the other. Just a regular ship that has a few mutinous crew members.

This one you could probably do easily as a mini.

11. Philosophers (You character will be a philosopher. Who exactly would be Mafia would be somewhat of a philisophic question itself )

I would so love to play this one. But my homie Foucault would have to be in there.

I have two possible themes I'm thinking of using - one based in a late-19th-century London coffeehouse, and one set in a series of 14-year-old-girls' birthday sleepover parties.

I like the second if I could be the creepy pedop...uh...I mean...the first one.

I'd definately play Smash Brothers.

Has anyone ever heard of Harry Turtledove and his "Darkness" series?

The fantastical world where Derlavai fights a WWII-like war with dragons and leviathans and magic instead of airplanes and submarines and technology?

I'm thinking of someday maybe running a game based on the viewpoint charecters from the first two books.

I’m considering running a Survivor Legends UPick in the somewhat near future and I kinda wanna hear what people would want from it, would a more traditional mafia experience but with roles based on the player picks be preferred or should I strive for a Mafia-Survivor hybrid? Would a Redemption Island/other return method be wanted? How to integrate “challenges”?
