Zombie Outbreak Mafia
: Cultish, with a night start. All vanilla townies can kill or protect each night, with a kill only going through if the attackers are more numerous than the defenders of any one player. Zombies at night can choose to kill or shamble about. Shambling about means they turn any townies killed by other means into zombies, and of course anyone killed by a zombie becomes one. Zombies act separately from one-another, and can't communicate specially (Though they do get a list of all zombified players). In the event of a zombie-win, as opposed to it being outright victory/defeat, there's a scoreboard. Every player gets one point per night they remain alive, two points per fresh brain eaten (The brain divided among the zombies killing a player) and one point for each cold brain. (That is to say, brains eaten from corpses instead of living targets) Ten points as well divided up among all the survivors who are endgamed. At the beginning of each day all last night's corpses are cleaned up, (Immune to "Shamble Around" zombification) as are lynchee corpses.
The first zombie (Seems to me starting with two would be too much) would have a night option that means there have to be
more
protectors than attackers on his target to stop the kill, or grants him nightkill immunity for the night, but halves the brain-value he gets from any victims. Also strict deadlines on night phases. I'm imagining two or three pro-town power roles and two with unique win conditions for a 20-person game.
