I have an interesting concept...
Turntable Mafa
There is a somewhat normal setup, like C9 or such...
but all the players are put around a table in random seats (the order and postion is known to all) Each night, players that have a night choice perform their nightchoice, and then pass that information left or right any number of spaces.
Example:
1
2 3
4
Johnny, a Townie, sits at 1
Bob, a Mafia Goon, sits at 2
Joan, a Townie, sits at 3
Larry, a Doctor, sits at 4
Night 1:
Bob chooses to kill Joan. He passes this information 1 seat left.
Larry chooses to protect Johnny. He passes this information 1 seat left as well.
So:
Bob knows that someone protected Johnny.
Johnny knows that someone attempted to kill Joan.
Of course, I think the setup would work better if there were multiple Mafia that did not know each other, and had to have a plurality to kill someone. Also, there could be roles like Reversers that reverse all passes, and Nullifiers that nullify all passes.- skitzer

I had a crazy idea.
What if you take a simple 12 player setup (basic 12 player, etc.) and made it so that each role was played by 2 people. Everyone knew who the pairs were, and each pair of players shared a vote, role, and were lynched/killed together. The pairs could talk anytime they wanted to, but mafia (or masons) would talk at night like usual.
I'd call it "Siamese Twin Mafia". Ask if you have any confusions,- skitzer

An Idea I find interesting, I may have mentioned it earlier: You take a normal open setup of any size that is well balanced (or even favoring town slightly). Then start a game as normal, until all the actions of the first night have concluded. Then you switch everyone's role, maintaining those that are still alive but putting them with different people.
This would eliminate buddying as a scumtell, which is why I think setup slightly favoring town should be used.
Example:
Bob is Mafia
Carolyn is Mafia
Chiquita is Townie
Marge is Townie
Denzel is Doctor
Day 1, Bob is lynched as Mafia
Night 1, The Mafia kills Chiquita. Then the mod switches the roles randomly, so that
Marge is Mafia
Denzel is Townie
Carolyn is Doctor
I like this idea but I'm wondering if it'll work.- skitzer

I like animorphs, but I'll need reminding.animorpherv1 wrote:

Ohai Nico. I was a big fan of Animorphs in my younger days, and I would definitely be interested, that series has some big nostalgia value for me.Nicodemus wrote:Would anyone be interested in/supportive of an Animorph mafia? I have some set-up ideas that I'm kicking around in my head, and this will probably be the first game I run when I am mod-eligible.
Did you know that most of the books were ghostwrote? - skitzer
