FAQ: Why did my mafia thread disappear?

I deleted a double post in my mafia game, Insane Asylum II, and...the entire thread is gone now. I know I JUST deleted that post but there was some lag so I just clicked Coney Island so I could get back to game and see if the post was gone...but I can't find the thread at all. Like, a Ctrl-F does nothing.

Did something quirk out and delete the entire thread?

I abused power and deleted the Site Ideas version of this thread.

It happened tome once. Just have a copy in your Watched Topics/ bookmarked.

It happens occasionally when the site hangs up in the middle of deleting something. The post gets deleted, but the "last post" field doesn't get updated, so it doesn't show up in the topic list.

Stickying. If this happens to you, let me know, it's pretty easy to fix. (Or, as suggested, keep it on watched topics so you can find it that way; making a new post will fix it.)

This happened in Incognito's Mafia With Quickness thread. We found we could find the thread by clicking on the link he had to it in his sig.
