As you can see in my sig, there's a way to set your gender now, albeit you have to go in there and do it manually. But is this a "temporary" fix, as in it's not how you want it done?- StrangerCoug

Mr. Flay wrote:It's "temporary" in that mith should be able to reimport the old settings, but I wanted to get something in there so I could start to test icons.Must be why it's mods-only. Nobody Special reports not being able to set it.

Saw it. On the other side I visit, the dividing line between avatar and post is pushed over in that case to get it to fit. Perhaps implement something like that?- StrangerCoug

My username comes from a site (same one mentioned in #365, actually) that has a 12-character limit. I've rarely bothered to tack the -ar back on.- StrangerCoug

How are the dice coming along? I get by with random.org in The 300, but that game would be much faster if players didn't have to wait for me...- StrangerCoug

I think the way it is now is more natural to say out loud, but the other way is fine, too (another site I'm on formats it asIn reply to USERNAME, #XXX:, where USERNAME is replaced with the obvious and XXX is replaced with a number).
Another site I'm on, interestingly enough, accompanies the username with a timestamp instead of a post number when you quote the message.
ETA:Oh, and is there any way to force an edit statement when you edit a post rather than it only showing if you edit after someone makes a subsequent post?- StrangerCoug

I've done forum games where the rules don't allow for edits either. - StrangerCoug
