In Wisborg Asylum, SpyreX and Merkabah (Amished/VP Baltar hydra) were recruited Night 1. That doesn't sound like a shabby choice to me. In my past games, I've often seen recruiting of the 'best' or 'strongest' players in the game as a common night 1 tactic, and though it's WIFOM, it's still an awesome idea, for multiple reasons:

-They're less likely to say something to get themselves lynched.
-They're much more likely to be able to weasel out of lynch wagons.
-Having them on your side to help hunt down the other scum is WIN.

And there are many more reasons.

That ends my little spiel on game theory; eventually I might actually re-read the topic (darn you guys for making it grow so fast!) and get back with something actually USEFUL.

If there are competing voices in the alliance, it obviously crumbles before it has a chance to be of any use. But if it works out, it's a powerful tool. Looking back at Andreus's posts day 1, he did say that "something bad" would happen if he targeted the brothers. Did you ever get clarification on that? Could "not getting a result" (and the whole "getting suckerpunched" thing or whatever) be what the mod meant?

Obviously thats not very far-fetched considering the mechanics we've experienced thus far (that the don's sons must recruit their power roles, just like in The Godfather Part II video game or some other mafia video game).

ooba: have you asked the mod if your doublevotes will show up in the vote count? If so, I am gonna need more than just a backed claim to prove that you're not scum. and that seems like something you'd ask the mod, as a smart player playing a vig/doublevoter.

Remember, there were no deaths on Night 0. Once zwet flipped, it would have been the perfect time to lay the claim, and reveal the breadcrumb only AFTER drawing out a counter-claim from another pro-town person.

This is all too fishy.

So I'm thinking about the possible causes that Andrius would get that result on ooba. It has to be either:
- it's a product of Andrius' role.
- it's an effect of ooba's role.

Go back to playing newbie games if this is the best you can muster. You make less sense on a consistent basis than any other player I've ever seen. Furcolow looks like a scummy award winning champion of mafia compared to you. I don't mean to discourage you or hate on you, but please. Take this as a wake up call. STOP /in-ing for large theme games until you grasp the basics of mafia. I don't know if you have played in any newbie games, but the average level of coherence I see from most brand spanking new scummers is better than yours. If you're sick of being called a VI, I strongly suggest you consider going back to pick up more of the basics, before you come play in the big leagues.
