Sorry, that was me. Should be fixed now. Was trying to give them SOME color, just went the wrong end of the spectrum.
That's incorrect. There are no replacements for flaking, but unforseen circumstances where the player lets you know is apparently mod's discretion (Rule 12).animorpherv1 wrote:bv310, there are no replacements in a BaM ruleset game. ever.
If not, that needs to be fixed on the wiki page for Bad at Mafia.Retired as of October 2014.- Mr. Flay

Requested Name/Type Moderator Status/Length Notes Sept. 25th Succession Mafia (Large Theme, 17p left) Mr. Flay Day Two, 62 pages looking for a replacement for vezokpiraka, who appears to have quit the site.
This game requires players to have a good history of not flaking, and at least one Theme Game they've played their role to completion in. It also has semi-fixed deadlines of 18 days/Day, and cult/recruiting mechanics.Retired as of October 2014.- Mr. Flay

Requested Name/Type Moderator Status/Length Notes Oct. 24th Succession Mafia (Large Theme, 14p left) Mr. Flay Night Three, 86 pages inHim has requested replacement, and one other player may or may not need replacement, depending on how their prod goes.
This game requires a good history of not flaking, and at least one completed Theme Game. It also has semi-fixed deadlines of 18 days/Day, and cult/recruiting mechanics.
Yes, it's a long one(::edit:: sorry, 86 pages, not 186), but the pace has dropped considerably since Day One (now 1-3 pages per RL day, not 10-20). Still a lot to reread, but I can give you the cliff's notes if it turns out you have a power role/night action. N3 ends in about 24 hours, so replacements will be critical to game integrity.Retired as of October 2014.- Mr. Flay

Katsuki turned out not to have time for the game after all, so the slot's open again. It is now Day Four midday (about 11 days until deadline)... any brave souls interested? PM me!Retired as of October 2014.- Mr. Flay

Yeah, but you don't get to pull the WHOLE table, you have to excise a chunk of it. Also at 'I'm too old to change'.
::edit:: I do think if we're changing, it may still be too complicated. The subscript/superscript stuff is very hard to follow for my old eyes... Maybe something like:
- LARGE THEME GAMES
- Mr. Flay needs a replacement forQuilfordin Hottie Mafia XVII; Day Five, 432 pages.Must have at least one game played on-site to replace.

*ahem* I also think that the new formatting is too small and perhaps even oversimplified, but I want some consistency in the way things are formatted. Having several bullet points all made by different people would probably lead to a massive mix in styles, which I don't want.
I just fine the ■ and sub/superscripts to make it very hard to parse, especially when the lines jam against one another. My suggestion would be (relatively) easy to do on the fly if a player didn't get the syntax exactly right; compare with Kcdaspot's well-meaning attempt at the table.
But it's your thread, and I claim full responsibility for the original complexity of these threads. I started that damn table format.Retired as of October 2014.- Mr. Flay
