I agree with the pokemon. I think we should just give the smash balls to people who we have strong town reads on. If we think someone made a bad kill we might lynch them for it, depending on the circumstances. Since Fate seems like a very experienced player and others are ok with him, I'm comfortable with giving him the kill.

@Diddin: I had to read through a lot of pages and reading quickly, I didn't see what was different between the 2 plays, after it was explained however I understood. Fate has a high expectation to meet and asked for the immunity and kill. You proposed a pointless strategy of everyone only self voting and now you claim it was just to make things take a serious turn. But if you hadn't been called out for it would you have continued, under the guise that you're just a cautious townie?

Seriously, what is the scum-motive to have everybody self-townvote at the beginning of RVS? Obviously somebody's gonna get the smashball, I don't see why it's scummy to recommend people to self-townvote to generate discussion.

I'm not claiming unless I'm at at least L-2 or there's a large amount of people who want me to.

Self voting doesn't generate discussion, to generate discussion one should town vote for the people they have town reads on. (or at least make a joke vote and look at reactions). Obviously everyone would have incentive to get the smashball and every townie knows themself to be town, but that gets us nowhere. Selfvoting for the most part is pointless and distracting.

Mongoose, if the scum's fakeclaims are all of less prominent characters then the game would be broken by a massclaim. Mods generally have to include both prominent and minor characters as scum fakeclaims to keep things fair. Diddin's Luigi claim is not why he's scummy.

I don't think Kirby's interaction with Diddin clears him. that could have easily been distancing/bussing.

If Traitor was a part of Diddin's role, I think it would have said, "Mafia Traitor Godfather". Besides how can you be the godfather and a traitor? Traitor sounds more like a title for the mafia group.

If Diddin was actually a Traitor then Kirby wouldn't have know that he was his buddy anyway, and if Traitor is just the title for the group then that implies multiple groups, so it would make sense for Kirby to be scum either way.

Stels makes a good point. I had forgotten that Pikachu had posted a kill on sociopath. Pikachu, are you responsible for that kill?

That makes no sense. Fate confirming his scumbuddy is an incredibly ballsy and risky play without much reward in the long run. Why can't it be the case that Fate is town and Nacho is scum or that Fate is scum and Nacho is town?

@Dana: it's pretty easy to ascribe flavor to any good guy character as to why there they're a traitor, so your claim doesn't clear you. your rolefishing is terrible. you're metagaming the setup to think you can figure out someone's alignment from them claiming. I do agree mongoose needs lynching, but a roleclaim won't make a difference one way or the other.
