ReaperCharlie's #34 is not giving me good vibes, especially in the off-chance that Furcolow is scum. His worries about Furcolow being lynched Day 1 all the time has already been nullified by the fact that he survived until being stumped in Harry Potter Mafia, lived until Day in The Brave and the Beautiful, and is currently alive Day 6 in an ongoing game. Saying that we should keep him alive because of his style is also ridiculously weak reasoning as his style encourages policy lynches on him, because it's a style that very little of us enjoy playing with. He promised that he would explain why he wanted Furcolow alive in #54, yet I have not much further explanations why. He makes a serious vote on Benmage, who I agree with, but wish there was more explanation going for it. I do find his Seacore vote in #120 horrible thought as I don't see how the second quote indicates him being cult. And he seems to be defending Furcolow a lot recently. If one of them flips scum, make sure to look at the other for lynch, even with Furcolow's ward action dealio. His post on #298 is a lot of fluff. It's either praising Furcolow, giving out town reads, or complete nonsense. Either way, I find it scummy that he almost nothing to help town in that post. His suspicion on hitogoroshi has no contents to back it up and no evidence supporting that he's scum, which make me suspect that he's throwing around suspicion to make it look that he's actually scum hunting multiple people and not just fluffing around/focusing on a two people to seriously scum hunt on.

Regardless of whether you don’t want to repeat you chose to lambast the Hydra that I consider having of a weaker player (CSL) as opposed to the Hydra that has two strong players (Mina and Faraday). Bowser is an ‘easier’ target than Lost Butterfly so the inconsistency on your part appears as it might be opportunistic.

Don't care. 'sides, I've never played with CSL or Mina to my knowledge, and I know I talk to Faraday with just as much ... "gusto" ... as I talk to anyone else. And I don't even know who's in the Bowser hydra. Don't even care, tbh. They were being stupid, so I said so. Finally @Reaper – I’d like your opinion on Furc’s claimed scum. His current targets seems to be Lost Butteryfly, Fate, BabySpice and Seacore mostly because they have recently disagreed with them.

I think my opinions about Seacore are clear. As for Lost Butterfly, they seem schizophrenic and I don't like them much. BabySpice seems more useless than scummy. And as usual I think Fate is ridiculously hard to read. But I'm leanin' town for now, based on the Benmage interactions. Benmage on the other hand is decidedly anti-town, regardless of his alignment. I wouldn't be averse to a Benmage lynch if it comes down to it.

gives the Cult a chance to kill Fate, right? But only if they've crafted a fetish for him already? Or can the Cult participate in a Ritual on anyone they want, regardless of fetishes crafted? If they can, then wasting Fate AND a Res kit just to confirm Benmage (who would then be 1 murder away from Psychopathy anyway) seems like a PRETTY bad plan to me.

On the other hand:

My plan

gets rid of the stupid half of a very LOUD combination of people, saves Fate's life, and we've still got our Res kit. However, the Cult may still try to kill Fate (I'd rather Fate than a number of other people, though. sorry Fate ); that we don't really have any 'confirmed townies' (something I'd be willing to forgo to get Benmage out of the way, and free Fate up to scumhunt without worrying about some idiot killing him that night based on a childish vendetta).

Still though, I think there's a better plan out there.

I haven't finished my Seacore v. Babyspice and Spyrex v. AV things yet - and likely won't for a few more hours - but I have something I need to say right away.

Bad: Scummy player selected to rob grave, scum get corpse dust and equipment if we're

right

for the cheap cost of one insanity.
Good: Two townies players rob grave, no one gets anything as long as we're right on one of the two, two insanities.
Great: Townie we're sure of robs grave. Cultists not only get nothing, they have to take an insanity on the chin or else we get equipment, one insanity.

The problem with "Great" is that it's terrible if we're wrong on the townie. Furcolow doesn't want to do it, so I guess the question is, is there anyone besides him we feel safe calling "town" and making our graverobber? If not, it's not a huge deal, we can just have two people bounce the grave.

I still don't want Benmage to go through with the murder. If he and Fate were both under intense suspicion, it might be worth it. But they're both pretty likely town. Risking the death of one pretty likely town (with losing a Rez kit being our BEST case scenario) just to make another pretty likely town a confirmed town? I don't buy it. It's not worth either losing a townie or blowing a protect just to get the equivalent of a single investigation on a likely town slot.

I'm back. I've been trying to keep up to date on my phone whenever I had coverage, but that wasn't often.

I seem to not be the lead wagon anymore? Or maybe I still am. If people have questions I'm happy to answer them. I might uncover them as I start to read more thoroughly, but it'll be easier if people just reask them.

My inclination has been to just assume LB and BS are investigators, but I've realised that's because most of the people who accused them accused me, and I KNOW that they were wrong about the latter. But I'm going to go back and look at them in ISO.

I'm struggling though, every time I think I've found scum and ISO them, they seem more investigator to me.
It seems the majority of people are demanding a cult targeted lynch rather than a general scummy one (i.e. Not going after a potential murderer) so I'll leave off the Benmage thing for now.

I have very little desire to put a lot of new work into this game, if I'm just gonna be lynched today. I have said pretty much all that needs to be said about what I've noticed, and yes, I could do a re-read, but I have very little interest in doing that either. I'm not much on the whole 'contribute a ton just before you are lynched in hopes that when you are lynched that town will come to their senses and kill the ones who pushed your lynch'.

Hope that is understandable.

This will probably be my last post for a while unless something piques my interest, or there are enough people saying "Reaper is not scum, don't lynch him" that I feel like I have a decent chance of surviving the day.

Seriously, this guy is getting away with this BS because of the above average number of words/page in this game. In a game with the average number of words/page, the stuff he's been doing is inexcusable especially ISO #46. And in case you missed it, (I think most of it's detailed above, but I'll try to succinctify it here for those struggling to keep up), the case on me is this:

1.

I contradicted myself. (what I said was essentially that a hydra having conflicting reads (Lost Butterfly - Mina/Faraday) was scummy. But I also said that SSBF's post ____ about Triglav was right on. This basically means, I have condradicting views on hydras, and therefore, I MUST BE A LIAR. LYNCH ALL LIARS.

2.

I dodged questions about #1. Guilty as charged. Didn't see them, and was too lazy to look.

3.

I played dumb about cult mechanics and asked a question in the topic about how cult kills work. My motivation was to WIFOM the town into thinking "OMFG! He must be a townie because no cult wouldn't know how the cult works!", but really, I must be cult because no townie would be that stupid. They'd look in the ruleset, obviously! ERGO I MUST BE CULT!

4.

No town player would repeatedly call themselves town so vehemently. OBV CULT.

5.

No town player would buddy up to people so often and so obviously. OBV CULT.

I've questioned hitorogoshi's motives. But wait! No town player would question such an obvtown player's motives!! OBV CULT.

Magna doesn't like my case on Seacore, doesn't think I'm playing to my town meta according to past games he's played with me, doesn't like when he thinks I'm trying to play to my town meta just for the sake of playing to my town meta (say that three times fast), and overall just thinks I'm trying to take the center of attention and lead the town (like in Harry Potter where we were scum together).

I admit, Magna DOES have a few legitimate complaints with my play when others have rather hollow/contrived/reaching cases on me. But onwards.
