Wow, I hadn't even thought of that. I thought the "set on fire" was a pun on "fired."

Did you know that the idea of "firing someone" came from back in the olden days, when they used to set people's houses on fire when they were of no further use to the society? Weird, huh?

Well... do some talking then. The bandwagon was based on the fact that you were obviously here, but not saying anything useful. Do you have ANY opinions on this game at all? Any observations, other than the fact that the two people who died last night both involved chance? And that goes for everyone else who isn't talking. It's day one, we need some thought going on.

As for me, I think we need to get cracking. I know it's been said before, but there are likely 4 bad guys, and while I'm not usually for a first day lynch, I think that we have decent odds if we assume the two role claims we have are true. I don't think we've ever had 50%-50% odds on a first day.

Also, I know this is a bit unrelated, but what sort of person would be a cop-like role? A secretary? A hacker? And what other roles would we be likely to find in this game? I haven't seen the movie in a while, so bear with me. I'm trying to think of the third guy who helps with the virus. The one with the accent. He's gotta be in here somewhere. And the girlfriend, probably.

Well, that's good, but we're still in somewhat of a fix, here. We still most likely have 2 mafia and Milton to deal with, out of 7 people left. I don't usually say this, but we really need something good to happen today (and tonight, for that matter).

By the way, what's the deal with "Samir's wrath?"

Did Dice die because he targetted buns? Is Samir also a vigilante in addition to being a cop-like role? What happened to Milton? Why am I asking all these questions?

Drowned in paperwork? That's new. Either Milton is getting more insane every day or we have extra killing roles. I assume the former.

On a less happy note, we have 5 people, 3 of which (I assume) are evil.

Unless I am mistaken, we have to hit a mafia member then have the SK and mafia both shoot at each other for us to win. This is looking bleak.

Wait... doesn't the mafia have to actually outnumber the town to win? If the mafia consists of half the town, they can't lynch anyone.

Never mind, the town can't either. So if there were 2 mafiosos left it would be sort of a stalemate unless there was a no lynch.

I think the "buried in paper" was hinting at the filing clerk. I'm not sure why Milton would have vigilante powers once getting his stapler back, though. That seems somewhat illogical to me.

No problem, Scalebane. I was actually about to do it, but I at least wanted to see you post before I made a move. Then I started to think of several situations in which Cynical would kill you instead of Jere, knowing he was going to die anyways. Or possibly they would try to get a roleclaim out of you before it happened. So don't worry, we were on the same page.

I chose to fire Jere last night, because I was worried Cynical would be a smart-ass and, knowing he was going to lose, shoot me instead. If he had, it would have been a draw game, with everyone dying. Of course, Jere was going to shoot cynical either way, because he knew for sure, but for cynical it didn't matter.

I really should have given myself up, actually, with you being the GF and all. Even though you died, you still win as far as I'm concerned.
