Nitpick: This response doesn't sound appropriate for someone who is supposedly 'frustrated town'. It sounds more like scum a. Relieving mental stress, b. Going for tiny town brownie points and c. Attempting to make someone who, while interested in his lynch, less keen on pursuing it. Seeing as a followup comment was made (again by a third person, much like the frustrated town comment) with the standard 'there's scum in this wagon' safe approximation, Mafuyu wonders if the situation is being diffused a bit too quickly.

Depends how much flavor is given. Scum have day powers as well, and Mafuyu's not paid enough attention in the pregame to note if any were dayvigs (though Day Poisoner looks to be similar). If it is an autoclear, Mafuyu would be confused as to why he would do so, seeing as how the odds are technically unfavorable and the results wouldn't necessarily provide any correlations, what with Fate being Fate.

He seems to keep coming off as the type to rely on momentum to push/break cases. It feels like opportunism to Mafuyu, though Mafuyu's admittedly not much for ISO walls. They never seem to prove much unless a glaring contradiction is shown, and can just as easily cloak scum relations.

While it's terrible that people are claiming chainsaw, as chainsaw's supposed to involve a dead player, it's still of note that TMH went, not for Lateralus as could be justified, but rather Beefster, someone who shared a similar position in Lat's post but OMGUS-voted. Shorthand sentence makes for confusing interpretation. Mafuyu's gonna take it as three suspects that aren't tmh/robo, and why. Unfortunately,a previous consideration of LLD gets somewhat nullified due to the LLDcop-Renakeeper-Mafuyu chain. On that particular note, Mafuyu is of the opinion that only one LLD/Rena could be scum, from personal perspective. From the perspectiv of LLD-scum, knowing that Mafuyu's vig/lynch will flip town, if Rena flips scum, LLD is potentially cleared as sane(or lucky) cop. Regardless, this possible confirmation is not worth the one-scum one-town tradeup to a PR-lying scum, as there exists enough potential for another PR to reveal scum-LLD. If Rena were to flip town, LLD would have to play the insane(or unlucky) cop defense, which is still a risky proposition and at best is worth two town. Still, this potential does exist, which is why Mafuyu's more comfortable with the assertion that there cannot be two scum in LLD-Rena, with a one-scum preference in Rena. In a game without insanity possibilities, this claimed PR-chain would easily lead to a Rena-lynch, and likely a Mafuyu scan juuust in case, if not an outright lynch/vig. With insanity in play, the concern is whether or not this might just cause three town (or two, in the perspective of non-Mafuyu players) to die without a productive use of PRs, in the assumption that Rena is town, LLD is insane or unlucky, and Mafuyu's getting false-lynched for a no-death claimed jailkeep scenario.

Anyway, the two remaining reads, with significantly less detail.

I don't think Mafuyu's posting affected whether Mongoose would be lynched or not, and I think Mafuyuscum knew this.
Therefore I see no reason for Mafuyuscum not to add an FOS or a vote there.
I also still think Mafuyu is not unlikely to have been a roleblocked killsubmitter.

The best play for MafuyuScumDay2 would have been to ease pressure off the Mongoose lynch by any means necessary. There is no reason to bus a scum when there is a (somewhat?) confirmed cop, multiple methods of being roleblocked overnight, and a losing fight entering Day 3. That's defeatist.

In addition, weak doctor doesn't prove that LLD is not-scum, as too many people claimed interaction with Mafuyu's night. Still, Mafuyu's of the opinion that LLD is in fact town, if not for the weak doctor potential then the chain of role interpretation presented yesterday.

From the perspective of scum, this would be an attempt to try and prevent the possibility of confirmedtown-Mafuyu, who has been one of the leading wagons for a significant portion from the game. From the perspective of town, this would be an honest clarification to prevent the possibility of Mafuyu-scum being confirmed as town. At the moment, Mafuyu is leaning towards the second, but the fact that there was conflicting hydra head responses to start makes it hard to resolve.

Considering the atmosphere at the time (and the fact that you replaced in rather than were there from the start), Mafuyu was wondering if you might be scum that simply wanted townie points for a lynch that could easily come to fruition. The level of reservation in your response (that is to say, none) was enough to trust your own towniness.

But yes, Mafuyu needs to pick it up. It's not adequate to respond to a series of night events with "But....but...you're wrong! D+".
