*13 or less, not less than 13. Otherwise, yes, fantastic idea.

Good point; I'll fix it later.

Prefect. I hope this clears up all of those noobs who are always asking how to /in.

You should also make note that many large games request players with a certain amount of Mafia experience.

Specifically large themes.

Specifically themes, actually. I think Mini Themes have then 30-40% of the time, anymore.

Maybe this could be sent as a "welcome!" Pm to new members. Is that even possible?

Still needs to be stickied!

Here's why: http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... =8&t=18367

"QUEUE" block needs to be more prominent. Most flowcharts start at the top... other than that, this is pretty good, Quilford.

This should be the new thread for all of the "how do I /in". It should be pinned so it will stay at the top of the page...

Call the forum "Queue (SIGN UP FOR GAMES HERE!)" is my proposal. Maybe the caps locking is stylistically bad, but we need to make sure all the new people know that THIS IS STEP 1. GO HERE. YOU CAN'T MISS IT. The bold in the description text and the forum being the first one on the page are improvements, but it needs that one more means of emphasis IMO.

I would just call it "
Game Sign-Ups
" instead of "Queue".

I've suggested this before in the coding thread, but Flay said having it in the description was enough. I disagreed, obv.

P.S. Nobody says "Queue" in the U.S. It's called "standing in line" over here. :P

People who are well-read call it Queue all the time. The site has called it Queue since the beginning, and a majority of users have always been able to figure it out. Your outrage is manufactured; maybe a hundred people out of thousands have gotten lost, once, over the last ten years.

Okay, all issues should be resolved, now.

Sticky time?

Maybe I can make this slightly more appropriate re: graphics and then we can imagemap it on the website or wiki somehow?

The welcome PM idea is also good.

Looks much better! I'm a little confused if the "These games may require on-site experience" box is supposed to look like it will apply to all games?

Dammit Flay pin it already.

How does it look like that, Flay?

by Mr. Flay
It's centered under both 'types' of games that you originally split out. Therefore as a newbie I'd expect that Newbie Games, Large Themes, Mini Normals, etc ALL may require on-site experience, which isn't at all accurate.

Krew: I want to make sure this makes things better, not worse. Right now there's still lots of confusion possible... for example, in Mini Theme/Opens, you have to name WHICH game you're /inning for.

by Quilford
Okay, I'll move it to the right so it doesn't look like that. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalso, you don't actually have to specify which game you're inning for, Flay. I'm pretty sure if you just post /in you're added to the most full game.

Flay's right, just put an asterisk at the bottom saying that Mini Theme and Open have multiple games in sign-ups at once.
