While it is true that I read [large portions of] the thread upon replacing in, now I have to go back and wade through an unfamiliar thread with new information in mind.

Therefore, I don't really see me providing a lot of help in the immediate near-term. I will be following up on the stuff you two have said thus far today; but I will admit right here I feel overwhelmed in this thread and more or less useless.

Oversoul, I really don't mean to upset you so. But I haven't had the benefit of being in this game as long as you have. While I've read a lot of the game, there are things that apparently happened while my eyes glazed over. You'll allow me some time to process over 1,600 posts, won't you?

I do gather you got neighborized at some point -- can you point me to an approximate page or day/night where that happened?

I have actually been quite busy IRL the last few days; it's been a struggle to keep up with all my games. And, as I said before, I'm just floundering in this one. It's overwhelming, but I think I'm getting a little bit better of a handle on who's who and what's what.

While Xanatos is the current big wagon, I really think Empking looks worse. And my interactions with Empking over time have been less than pleasant. I don't think he's very pro-town this game.

I pretty much believe Thor's claim.

So, wait, if I understand correctly, we have Thor=Mafia (per Empking, who I don't really trust), and David=SK (per general consensus, which I agree with)?

I trust Thor far more than Empking.

It's really weird that we had a long string of mafia kills, and now a long string of (apparently) SK kills. There's certainly not two mafia factions, so it must be SK.

I tend to lean more toward no more mafia at this point (but I'm awful at balance, so take that with a grain of salt).

And why Xeras? Like Thor said, the head, it asplodes.

Going to read some interactions now. (I do love the double-iso feature -- it SO works for this purpose!)

You've stated previously that you trust neither Oversoul nor myself. Has that changed?

I'll be honest: I've put more time into this game than I thought I would have to (I seem to usually get NKed pretty quickly when I replace in, for some reason). And the fact that I'm still alive, which truthfully surprises me, means I'm going to have to put even more time into it.

When I initially replaced in, I started reading from the beginning. That didn't last. I got probably 40 pages in and just ...stopped. I have gone back and read certain isos, though, since.

I still don't trust either you or Oversoul. My most-town read right now is redFF. I'm especially more distrustful of you, now, precisely because you ARE still alive. I share your reasoning that any rational SK would've killed you. I mean, I don't have a lot of history with you, and if I were SK, I'd have killed you. You're fearsome, and I'd really hate to be in lylo with you as an adversary. That said, I do need to see about history with Oversoul/redFF and you; perhaps they don't know how good you really are (although your performance in this very game should be a freaking

clue).

Right now, my gut tells me to look toward you (mastin), both for the aforementioned reasoning as well as some back-of-my-mind suspicions I've had, off and on, for a short while.

My current read on redFF remains essentially what it was when we almost-lynched him: Oversoul is apparently conftown (although I

still

don't understand why; I really have to go back and re-read that Day); mastin is pretty much town (except for the whole STILL BEING ALIVE THING); and I'm town, so by PoE, redFF is the SK. EXCEPT THAT DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE AND THE WHOLE THING HAS COLLAPSED IN A BIG HUGE PILE OF FNARGLE.

My head hurts so bad. I cannot even fathom the permutations of interactions I'm gonna have to read to even have the right questions to ask.

I agree we should use the next two weeks to do scumhunting. It's probably gonna take that long, truthfully.

Precisely what Oversoul said -- I don't see any capacity for the SK having been RBed ALL of the first three nights (unless -- and this is a huge stretch -- Pine happened to have blocked the SK

each and every night he was alive

). I need to go look at Pine's iso and see if that's mentioned (or crumbed) at all.

And since this is a Normal, there can't really be too many restrictions/enhancements/whatever that modify the SK to an extent that might explain whatever's happened.

mastin: It's just more wifom, but I'm leery of you talking to the SK. It's sorta like distancing (if that makes sense?).
