You need to stop the Mafia from taking over your town! Time to lynch some scum, right?
No. You're going towards a more civilized community, so instead you will try to elect your fellow townspeople into City Council positions.
If you think you have what it takes, typeEnter Campaignin bold during anyMorningphase, and you will join the election. If not, then your goal is to elect your fellow townspeople during theEveningphase.
You win when at least 3 of the 5 positions in the City Council are filled with townies.

Your Mafia consists of AAAA, BBBB, CCCC, DDDD, and EEEE.
Since the town is going with this whole "City Council" thing, you'll have to play along, and try to trick them into electing you and your fellow Mafia members.
During eachMorningphase, you may choose to join the current election by typingEnter Campaignin bold.
During eachAfternoonphase, you may talk with your fellow Mafia members here. During this time, you must choose someone to oppose the player who volunteered during theMorningphase. The player you choose must be of a different alignment than the player who volunteered. For instance, if a townie joined the Campaign in the morning phase, then you all must decide on a Mafia member to run against them.
During theEveningphase, you may vote to elect, along with the rest of the town.
You win when at least 3 of the 5 positions in the City Council are filled with members of the Mafia.

Maruchan did exactly the same thing -- forcing the pace of the game and costing town information -- as scum in Newbie 1122.

Maruchan wrote:Besides, wouldn't it be in the better interests of the mafia to wait the full day-cycle before choosing which mafia player represents them? that way they can see who is the most town-looking mafia in the town's eyes, and make sure they are the elected party.
Why would the mafia want to not see how the public opinion is in reaction to them before volunteering?

Link to the specific point in the game where this happened?

ending the day 2 minutes after it stars, I don't see how this is forced. O.o Besides, wouldn't it be in the better interests of the mafia to wait the full day-cycle before choosing which mafia player represents them? that way they can see who is the most town-looking mafia in the town's eyes, and make sure they are the elected party.

This also applies to the town?
Quilford wrote:Also, Maruchan, when did you receive your Role PM and when did you receive the Thread Open PM?
Maruchan wrote:Although now that I look back, I pretty much gave the town the win on a silver platter because timeater can not post a single word and he is still more likely to win.
