1.)
Be civil.
2.)
No talking outside the game about this game, unless your role PM allows otherwise.
3.)
No editing or deleting your own posts or another's posts.
4.)
No mod-quoting. Only paraphrase in your own words. You may quote from the sample role PM. As a corollary, do not impersonate the Mod.
5.)
Nights will last at least 48 hours, and at most 72 hours. Day One will last at most three weeks. Each other game Day will last at most two weeks. Exigent circumstances may result in an extension.
6.)
A lynch (or a No Lynch) takes a majority of votes. In other words, if 7 players are alive, it takes 4 votes to lynch.
7.)
To vote, post a bolded
Vote: PJ
. To unvote, post a bolded
Unvote: PJ
. Because of the nature of this game, if you want to unvote somebody, you
do not have
to use a formal
Unvote: PJ
. See the Special Rules below for more details.
8.)
If you have a request, please use a bolded
Mod: So-and-So.
9.)
If you're dead, do not post.
10.)
If you notice there has been a lynch, stop posting.
11.)
Do not use small text, invisible text, spoiler text, etc. All players should be able to read everything you say. As a corollary, do not constantly use CAPS LOCK, large text, colored text, etc. All players should be able to read everything you say without getting a headache.
12.)
I reserve the right to change or add to all game rules.
1.)
Every player in the game starts the game with two votes at their disposal.
2.)
At no time may you have more than one vote on the same player. Your votes always must be on different players, unless your role says otherwise.
3.)
Votes are always first-come-first-serve. This means that if two players could technically be lynched in a single post, the
first
player to be voted will be lynched and not the second.
4.)
Due to the inherent difficulty of counting multiple votes, please note:
->
a.)
Always be clear on who you are unvoting. If you are only voting a single player, then a simple
Unvote
is sufficient. But if you are voting for two players and you simply post
Unvote
, then I cannot be clear on who you are unvoting. As a result, I will
always
consider a simple
Unvote
as unvoting
every player you are voting
.
->
b.)
If you try to vote for somebody but all of your available votes are currently on other players, I will as a default assume you are
unvoting your "oldest" vote
.
5.)
Hopefully this revised rule-set will prevent most voting shenanigans, but please keep in mind: if you are thinking about trying any voting "tricks," please don't do it.
6.)
As explained in the Sample Role PMs (below), this game contains exactly one Compulsive Day One 1-Shot Day-Vigilante (with Extra Cheese).
As such, fake daykills will not be tolerated in this game.
