Also: About the mass hide claim: Let's say I am scum. If I kill someone who was claiming to hide behind Townie McTownerson, and an unrelated actual hider hides behind one of us and dies, what does that tell town? Alternatively, if the actual mafia kill is protected and the hider death is found instead. Or if a vig pegged someone, or anything similar. How does the hypoclaim help?

And yes, but I hadn't thought of it that way before. It looks like 1-Shot Trackers know there's a regular Tracker alive, Doctors know there's a Jailkeeper if there's already a flipped Doctor, Commuters know there's a Hider, Vigs/Vengefuls know there's the other alive if one of their own is flipped, and Gunsmiths know there's a Rolecop if there's already a dead Gunsmith.

UPDATE: After further analysis, Tarhalindur has determined that the Chainsaw Defense is only trustworthy once the player defended has been revealed to be group scum

(once the player defended is proved to be Mafia, any player that used Chainsaw Defense on the dead scum should be scrutinized).

Coming from my last-game-experience, scum roles can narrow the game down to one of 2-3 scum setups, leaving only the question of which town roles were chosen. This role-chart of Phil's could just as easily, and is more likely, scum-chart than town-chart. Being a town PR, you know nothing other than 1 or 2 of a certain letter was chosen. Being SCUM you know either 3, 4, or 5 town PRs exist, and then you can make a chart of each possible letter combination to figure out what they are.

Ok, I believe this is a somewhat scummy post. All Maruchan does here is through doubt on this claim, for rather small reasons too, such as that the breadcrumb was 'too late' and it's really easy for scum to breadcrumb vig. I disagree, by the way, Maruchan. I think serial killer is more likely to claim vigilante than scum. People get suspicious if there aren't enough deaths happening. My point is that you really didn't give any real reasoning as to why you think the claim is fake.

The problem being, you are not one of them. You jumped off because I wasn't going anywhere, onto CCV, who so far has had very little put against them and no votes- ie going even less far than my wagon- then jumped back on to me, where there had been no new votes on me and the wagon was still at a standstill. On an unrelated point, you're right, he probably won't defend himself unless under pressure, so I'm upgrading my FoS to a "Vote if it gets big enough". This puts Fennin at L-3 with Chimera, Maru and myself (I think) all supporting the lynch without voting on it until it goes big.

I said you don't string up for a lynch unless you're sure. I didn't string him up for a lynch (AKA: No vote). I merely pointed out my observations, and applied pressure. Later, when I was more sure, I called him scum and expressed my interest in his lynching.

Just noticed something, IF indeed there are 3 scum left, I believe it is impossible for town to win unless SK/VIG shoots at scum. Even if we lynched all 3 scum, unless the sk/scum/VIG shoot each other, that leaves behind 1 townie 1 SK going into a night phase.
