@Apollo - In the newbie queue, singersigner normally waits until a few games are ready to go and then starts them all at the same time in one big batch. Your game should start shortly. You'll get a PM from the mod running your game when the game is scheduled to start (and an e-mail, if you have your notifications set up to get e-mails when you're PM'd).

Dave168 wasn't replacing out of a game, but rather just taking his name off of the SE queue so that he isn't in line to get in a game anymore. There's no spot to replace into. You also wouldn't be able to replace into a SE slot because you don't have the required two completed games on-site.

First of all, maybe you don't realize this, but moderators are just site members. They aren't staff. That

his game. He's running it because he wants to see you have fun, not because he's paid or volunteer staff on this website. He has every right to decide to exclude anyone from his game.

Second of all, please keep the posting in this thread to "/in" or "/out." Everything else can be dealt with in PMs. This is only a queue.

This, and it will also give you an idea of the site meta before breaking into the "real" games. We play a bit different here than elsewhere.

You'll have to /in as an SE if you have completed games on-site. I would highly recommend checking out the Mini Normal, Open, or Micro queues while you wait to reach the top of the SE list, because otherwise you would be waiting quite a while (over a month, easy).

You typically want to PM a mod when you want to replace into their game, not post in the thread.

Depends on how much of the game you played for the one you replaced out. If you played a decent amount of time, then you're an SE. If you played very little time, then you're a newbie still. The listmod will make the decision on it.

Oh.. Just curious is it a rule or requiment? Would you suggest i make 2 accounts and play seperate games?

It is a requirement that transcends accounts, meaning that making a second account and playing in a second newbie game at the same time would get you in trouble.

You can sign up for a game in another queue if you wish, just not a second one in the newbie queue due to the limits on it. The limit is in place within this queue to make sure that newbies can all get into games instead of a few newbies taking up a large amount of spaces.

As Majiffy said, all you need to do is post saying /in and you will be added to the queue. You will receive a PM as soon as your game starts. This normally happens within a week or two. A set of games hasn't gone out recently, so yours may start sooner.

Additionally, IIRC you replaced into Newbie 1319, which is your second newbie game. You'll be able to /in to another newbie game as an SE after both of your newbie games are completed entirely (meaning the game is entirely over).

Until then, you can sign up for games in any of the other queues. Off the top of my head, Mini Normal is waiting on two more people to launch another game.

Typically there are ~2 weeks between groups of newbie games being started. Normally 2-4 newbie games are launched at once, because that's easier for the listmod to do. It's been nearly 2 weeks since the last games launched, so I would expect more to be up very shortly. Thanks for your patience!

I can see why you would think that, I thought that as well. However, I only thought it up to the point where I thought, "wait, if I enter that game then I can enter a different game after and have played 2 games!" Also, I read up to page 15.

That is a hard game they're playing in there, and honestly I can't tell who is suspicious based on their posts. If I got into the game, (I haven't received a pm) I would have to look at each post afterwords and "get" those in real time.

It is highly against the rules to talk about ongoing games outside of the designated game thread. I'm positive your intent wasn't to break the rules, but please ensure that you keep anything related to a game inside that game's thread until it's entirely over (i.e. one faction declared the winner). This holds true even if you're not a player in the game.

Also, to isolate a player's posts, go to the bottom of a thread. Under the quick reply, there's a little thing that says "Display posts by user:". Select the user you want and click Go. You can even isolate up to three players together by clicking the + sign and selecting multiple players.

Default forum settings are that you would get an e-mail when you receive any PM. You'll get a role PM when the game starts, so that means you'll have an e-mail reminder.

Just so the lovely List Mod knows, I will always be able to moderate a newbie game if needed. In fact, I will sign myself up to mod ASAP if thats ok.

Unless I missed something, you haven't modded a newbie game before so you'll need to find a back-up mod in order to mod your first one. If I'm wrong, ignore me.
