Just asking, but why exactly do you believe we should vote one and quarturine another? Different people that is.

Because as quarantine is apparently a mass voted jail, jailing someone we just lynched (and is therefore dead) is unlikely to be useful.

Meta here is usually to vote fairly randomly until you have a coherent idea of who the scum are, or at least who you want lynched in some extreme cases, at which point you put together cases and vote with intent. No lynching at all tends to be fairly bad idea unless an even number of players remain at the later stages and we're having an odd number of deaths each night.

Trust me, I'm not complaining, but I thought that filling you in on meta would probably be a good idea. For reference, it's probably safer not to vote rather than voting no lynch if you're going to do that, just to be safe from protracted no-lynch sniping, if that makes sense. Basically, we don't want to accidentally give scum a free kill.

I'd say it's probably more useful as a public jail, and use in a similar manner- ie, going for people we suspect to be scum to stop them making the kill, particularly in the endgame.

Naïveté I could appreciate from a player who's new to mafia. Mala is not new to mafia. As such, the meta makes me more suspicious of mala, even though I can't figure out *which* player malakittens is...

My apologies. I've been having to post less due to exams and can't spend enormous amounts of time putting together posts, hence the less scumhunting, but my final exam is tomorrow. For now, I have a few questions to ask.
@Mala: In the link you gave, what username were you using? Malakittens wasn't part of that game.
@Espe: What are your knee-jerk reactions to guile and trollie, and would you be willing to give any explanation on the latter?

In reaction to Sword, on Malakittens I'm very suspicious. The claimed meta seems at odds with anything I could find there, or with a fair bit of the play we've seen here. Combined with the weird site to site meta stuff, I'm suspicious, but the volume of posting and thus useful discussion, if not particularly scumhunting, is handy. 48 has my hackles u immediately on a quick glane through the ISO.

Espe I'm willing to accept the mysterious aspect from, but I don't like how the most recent self meta could easily be construed as "I shift my vote to the best wagon then say I suspected them all along at the last minute", if I've interpreted it correctly. Aside from that, I'm going to postpone a solid judgment until I know whether this is genuinely town-Espe, but I'll give benefit of the doubt for now.

If I had to guess, Scum lies in Townish or Null. As for Defender, I made this by going through the ISOs list, failed to spot he hadn't been replaced. My bad. Which is odd, because he's actually the closest thing I have to a scumread- lack of posting, combined with needless speculation with little contribution and little explanation or qualification for his confirmation of his random vote. Still not very scummy, though, so yeah, no real scumreads.

Sorry. My apologies for lack of posting, no real excuse there. My bad. As for the vote on you, I'll usually follow up on people giving good reasoning if I'm convinced by it. That could well be a good reason for Espe loling. As for the questions in 499: I value good reasoning and effort in hunting as townish qualities, as if they are town, they tend to find scum, and if they're scum, they tend to slip up. From that alone, Nab was looking great. I guess I weighted that too much. Image, I just wasn't convinced that he is scum, which someone was arguing.
