My opinion on Quarantine:

1. When to use: Say we have a cop. He says that he got a "scum/guilty/not town" result on someone. If nobody counterclaims, quarantine him.

2. When to leave: Just about everywhere else.

3. If you self-quarantine, you become "obvscum" in my mind.

I'd say it's probably more useful as a public jail, and use in a similar manner- ie, going for people we suspect to be scum to stop them making the kill, particularly in the endgame.

In a closed game like this, this doesn't work. After we down 2 scum, it would be nice, but it would hurt if anyone here was a vig.

Quarantine has its positives and it's negatives.

Positives of JK:
Keeps target from attacking (if scum)
Keeps target from dying (if town)

Negatives of JK:
Keeps target from dying (if scum)
Keeps target from using PR (if town)

Negatives of public JK:
Scum can use another scum to kill.
Scum can't attempt to kill a claimed PR.

The quarantine is more useful for scum than it is for town, IMO.

I'm gonna make it clear that Espeonage self-quarantining page 3 or 4 or something is a pretty bad scumslip.

First one is scummy.

Second one is RVS. I admit bad RVS, but RVS.

Third one is RVS. Finally some good RVS.

Fourth one is RVS. Espionage means spying.

At first, 37 was RVS, but I kept the vote because Espeon felt scummy.

This seems like a pretty weak point, at least compared to what else was said. Why would it be a scum-slip to self-quarantine? How would this help scum at all? Further, why do you think whatever scum-motivation Espeonage has for wanting to be jailed is more likely than the town motivation?

I made it very clear in 86 that Self-Quarantine is Obvscum.

Scum would not be hurt if someone were public-lynched (they give the NK to another), and town were (The scum can't die through vig-kill)

Vigs would become less useful if a townie is ruled out.

Of course, the claim in the very beginning was somewhat scummy, but this is the main reason.

I'm starting to feel Espeonage is more town (but not definitely town), so UNVOTE: Espeonage.

I feel that the scummiest people currently are Phillammon and Drmyshotgun.

Shotgun, most of why I'm at L-1 is because of your confession in 336. They pick me over you because of my theory on Self-Quarantine.
