Dont see how plaaying one game onsite determines if someone can handle experimental roles.....

Meh. My offsite experience died a bloody death.

I make, refine, and balance setups multiple times a week. Perhaps my posts in setup review thread are sufficient evidence.

Not saying that i am a seasoned forum player. What i was taking note of is that abstract roles are no issue for me and wouldnt present any more of a challenge to me than a standard forum setup would be.

Ehhh. Dont think reverse mafia has a chance of filling or being fun on a forum as it consists almost entirely of night actions and no lynching and begging to be masoned as a traitor...

I logged on last night, everyone keeps playing the same lame setup. 4 orcs, 2 gunsmiths, a LK and 3 goons. The only fun thing about that setup is hearing the gunshots. Give me a gun and I will always shoot

That and reverse mafia have been staples of the training lobby for a couple months now. both are extreemely easy to play as town and a total snorefest, even in the opinion if most EM players... "shot in the dark" was blacklisted from ranked play and unmoderated- so its a good setup to troll and gamethrow with... Reverse mafia is mercilessly pointfarmed by people who are simultaniously doing homework. Even if EM was still down, i doubt reverse would fill on a forum

I justify my behavior by telling myself that anyone that joins that setup deserves to be trolled... Also it would be too imbalanced without gamethrowing LKs being scummy on purpose

also this format is one of my favs - there is a version of it on EM. Minus the scum/mason daychat--- went scumsided but like... Still fun as hell
