You walk down the corridors, the soft clacking of your boots a comfort to your sore ears. The beeping in the bridge had been incessant, but no one had dared to take the call that had come in. This far out in space, there were no social calls. In fact, there was no one at all, which was why it had been so surprising to hear over the telecom that your ship had been flagged. It was then that the captain had called for a meeting. It had taken some hours of heated discussion, but, in the end, it was decided that there had to be someone in your little crew who had notified the law. After all, nobody else knew about the cargo stashed beneath the false steel floor, and there were only seven crew members total on the ship. Because of your situation, you decide to be careful and not lynch anyone unnecessarily. No point in killing people if all that would accomplish is leaving you to fend for yourself out in the black.
Days will have a deadline of two weeks, and Nights will last 48 hours. Deadline extensions will be granted only in extreme circumstances.
Prods will be issued to players if they have not posted within a 48-hour period. Players who have been prodded have 48 hours to respond in the game thread before a replacement is sought. Saturday and Sunday will be considered a 24-hour period.
Lynches occur through simple majority (50% of living players + 1, rounded down). If no majority is reached at deadline or there is a majority of votes for No Lynch, the Day will end without a lynch. Once majority is reached, no further votes or unvotes will count.
All players, including the lynched player, are allowed to talk in twilight phase until the thread is locked, at which point Day ends. Dead players may not post until the game has been officially declared over.
Actions not received by deadline will be considered forfeit. Actions may be submitted ahead of time and can be changed as many times as desired; at deadline, the last action that was submitted will be used. Actions may be submitted via PM or QuickTopic.
Flavor is for entertainment purposes only and has no significance in the game.
Any situations not covered above will be handled on an individual basis.
Setup
The 7-player No Lynching Town open setup is a vanilla ("mountainous") setup consisting of 5 townies and 2 mafiosi where Day phases end without a lynch if players elect to lynch a town-aligned player.

I don't feel like playing anymore. I didn't feel like playing anyway, was about to take a break from mafia etc but
someone
convinced me to go into this game. Who's going to get lynched btw. just so you know.
And coming into this game, a nice open, with simple roles, we have to
confirm
. Not only do we have to confirm, but with 5 vanilla's and 2 goons, it takes two and a half day to do that.
And I don't randomly vote on principle. But that's not even the point. I wouldn't have this game even if I usually randomly voted.
@Myrk - we do not need to confirm.
Also, if you're town - replace out, I don't need someone who is going to be not interested in the game on my team.

And no Fighting Falcon is doing it too?
Am I the only one who was asked to confirm via Pm prior to game start and he put up the note just to fake me out?
At least FF remotely did something pro-town with his first post in addition to confirming, but...bleh.

are you allready setting up a lynch without voting anyone? 2nd, why don't you just say who it is you want to get lynched. why not just say, gregory convinced me to play this game and now I want him dead?
vote mykonian
no reason for secrecy if you're town.

someone is very eager to suggest he's town in a roundabout way.
vote thor
I don't see this vote changing any time soon. It fits what I think to know about thor too well.

Why don't you explain what you know about me as far as that comment making me scum?

hardly.
Depends how you think Thor plays as scum. Gregory hasn't played with him, I think, but it should be easy to relate to. Thor is a guy you either hate or love on MS. Some people believe he's a great player, great as town, great as scum. Others believe he's a little too full of himself. I'm not taking a stance there. Anyway, he's confident, generally goes into a game thinking he's going to win. He's used to leading towns, as either allignment, and is generally hard to lynch exactly because of that.
Thor made that sentence on purpose, he knows I don't replace out, we've played with each other before. The only goal it has is to insert that little piece of text that he's town. Now, I know confident scum. And I know I pulled stuff like that often. Each time town didn't notice it was a little victory, because it actually works. This is Thor trying to get in his favorite position.

Link to a game where I'm made aware that you don't replace out?
Because currently your case is predicated on that.

And as far as I can tell, the Thor love/hate machine works like this;
In game keep calling Thor full of himself.
After game, if your side is identical to Thor talk about how well he played.
If your side is different than Thor try to explain how it was mostly luck and/or you were 'on' to him.
Nominate Thor for a Scummy.
Rinse.
Repeat.
