Please give a stupid guy like me some context.

If their avatar never changes, then it qualifies as a characteristic of the nominated person, which (so long as they continue not to change it, which they most likely will since they have not done so yet and have no reason to do so in the future ) the community can understand, and continue to understand, for years to come. (For instance, other than that one time where I made an avatar bet and we mutually lost, I have never changed my avatar from the Zorbak Grin, nor will I ever do so in the future.)↑ TheButtonmen wrote:A title should subtly or not-so-subtly reference an amusing incident, playstyle or characteristic that the entire community can understand.
This seems like an awesome way to capture the heart of the title while also addressing the concerns about possible confusion, soyeah,

Other alternatives include: "Trajectory Tracker" "Miss Trajectory" "Tragic Trajectory" and the super dumb and lulzy "Tracer Rounds"
For anyone who doesn't know her, ffery basically single handedly coined the buzzword "trajectory" as far as its use here to track the way reads change as time goes on, and what "direction" and "speed" reads change. This unique method of scum hunting has been adapted for use by many, yet she alone remains the master of the craft.
Equally in-jokey would be giving me the title "Dammit, AP!"In post 2398, AngryPidgeon wrote:I really want mastin to have "WWMD?" as his title for What would mastin do? Its kinda becoming an inside joke with him, but I think most people wouldnt get it : (
Something along these lines, though, I would take, because I literally am writing a book on mafia. (Yes, a textbook of the game of mafia. Covering essentially every piece and facet of the game that I can cram into a book, including the various 'manuals' I've created. Yes, I know. I brought it up as a point of emphasis on why I don't want it.In post 4, InflatablePie wrote:In post 2436, mastin2 wrote:I'd just re-activate Mastinahem

How the hell is it an obscure reference? I understood it instantly. My answer is no. AP was right. I've got nothing against an innuendo, but that particular one simply doesn't appeal to me.In post 2636, Umbrage wrote:so can we have mastin give his opinion on this?
I did, but I'm not going to get involved in the titling process except when it comes to final choices. And apparently nobody else liked that one, so it never got to the final stage where I'd say yes to it.In post 2640, Oversoul wrote:Don't like Tome of Knowledge? I thought it was a fine title.
Fun fact--I've actually got a Bruce Lee poster on my wall. It contains the quote about not being tense--but ready. (Gift from my Tae Kwon Do teacher.)

That's actually a tough question. But since you've asked...I always have a soft-spot for paperback writer. (Yes, I know the song it's from, and yes I know what it's mainly about. The title's grown on me over the years.) It might have originally been for excessively-long-windedness, but is surprisingly good.In post 1, Jake from State Farm wrote:@mastin. Title fairy noms come in waves. At times, the thread is calm, collecting sand because it's a sunny day, with nothing to think about, and a relaxing environment.

Indeed it is. He doesn't ALWAYS double-post, but the times he single-posts are made up by the times he sometimes triple-posts or more. His iso would quite literally end up being nearly half its end length if all his double-posting was removed. (And, yes, while most scummers double-post occasionally and some are worse offenders than most...nobody, and I mean, NOBODY, does it nearly as often and consistently as Nero Cain does.)In post 3094, Ythan wrote:Notable.
