Klick, a.k.a. Kondi2424 used to be a chronic lurker and flaker that never seemed to finish a game unless it was a scum game and even sometimes he wouldn't finish those. Then, over the summer this past year something happened and Kondi stopped replacing out.

Then he started playing on Klick to try out a new name for himself and he is quickly rising as one of the better scum players on the site (in my opinion) (fucking autocorrect).

It is quite amazing how he can go from a player that is very likely to be placed on blacklists for his inactivity to being a player that actually plays very well. I have seen a common statement pop up these past few months "I do not think we should be suggesting titles that encourage bad behavior". This title goes directly against that in a way that I think is simply wonderful for the community as a whole. Kondi's "resurrection" is exactly the type of behavior that I think we should be encouraging.

Born again obviously does not have to be the title that he gets and I am sure there are much better ones out there that potentially reflect his personality or his play, but it is succinct without getting dramatic and I like that.

I like EGOT, but I don't like Egotistical. While Vi clearly likes his shiny things (and let's be honest, most of us do), I don't think he's particularly egotistical.

EGOTist doesn't only mean EGO-tist, it could also mean AWARDWINNER-ist, which is more of what Vi's known for. Vi doesn't really have that much of an ego either, which makes the joke even better. Really though, the perfect tie in is the EGOT thing. Which I have never heard of, but it's pretty brilliant.

You can argue this all day but unless someone has knowledge of the EGOT thing when the see Egotistical they will think of its literal meaning first.

I actually agree with Mina, with the additional Dr. Feelgood referencing his psychology major and his tendency to over-analyze situations and people (see: the relationships thread). We also spent like three hours one night analyzing motivations and intent behind people's actions and how how others perceive them.

You're suggesting a title that encourages MafiaSSK to lurk in order to live up to his reputation. Don't use titles to recognize bad behavior. The fact that it's been done before (I don't know the context behind Varsoon's title, so I'm just taking your word for it) doesn't make it better.

Also, a ton of players lurk a lot and it's not at all special that he does.

The title I am suggesting does not require MafiaSSK to lurk in order to live up to his reputation. MafiaSSK will continue to lurk regardless of his title, I can pretty much guarantee that.

A title should subtly or not-so-subtly reference an amusing incident, playstyle or characteristic that the entire community can understand.

I'm suggesting a title based on his playstyle and his characteristics. A lurking title is a good title for MafiaSSK. I've suggested alternates but I guess this one isn't going to fly.

And I am serious. Do you think I am trolling? Well, maybe a little but I do think this title fits every aspect it should.
What does one lurker in a game do to the game? Someone investigates him? Someone shoots him? Like a normal part of the game?
What does someone being brutal and mean to do the game? Changes the atmosphere of the game, makes it generally undesirable to play.
What does someone fakeclaiming a guilty do to the game? Possibly outs other PRs, gets a townperson killed, gets themselves killed, etc.
What does someone just hammering others do to the game? Again, possibly gets a townperson killed and basically guarantees their lynch for the next day.
What does replacing out all the time do? Makes the slot and the game slower and changes the atmosphere.

I can think of many recent games that all have had characteristics like this in it that caused more problems than someone lurking.

Lurking is a viable scum strategy and thus a viable town strategy. You can say purposefully making your town and scum games match is not in the spirit of the game, but that is tough to sell. I don't see why everyone abhors a title based on it. MafiaSSK has already endorsed he would not mind a title based on it and so does not find it offensive or any of its consequences (policy lynch).

But, my litmus test says this isn't going to be productive any further.
