VOTE: Aether
Still dodging the question. Why are you reading the role PMs in the first place?

For fun because I have nothing better to do.

This is not a satisfactory answer.

Nobody Special, did you expect your fake daykill thing was actually going to get a reaction?

Breakfast, explain the significance of your questions in #16 and #203.

16 - Was wondering if they were feeling too self-aware of their behavior to confirm publicly - i.e. Will it look suspicious if I confirm too early/too late/immediately before/after my scum buddy

203 - I have a potential followup pending a response.

Of course I did, that's why I did it. And it worked, huh?

Clarification: Did you expect as extreme a reaction as Pirate Mollie's, as in, someone actually taking your daykills seriously? Because that seems unlikely in an open game, and it looked to me like you were doing it as a joke.

Breakfast is scummier than Kmd -- pretty much for 116 and 169. 116 parrots a dubious accusation from Majiffy to hop on Aether, and 169 gives the impression that there's nothing Aether could've said that would have let him off the hook.

Explain how 169 gives you that impression.

I did it to see who was paying attention. It wasn't a joke.

Paying attention to what, specifically?

borkjerfkin wrote:Because he was candid and it's a plausible explanation. What were you looking for?

His answer was "For fun because I have nothing better to do." That's not candid, that's him trying to get out of answering the question. For comparison, here's what Declan posted around that time:

I also think its foolish to think that reading the role descriptions is scummy. I just completed a game where the mod screwed up one of the role PMs and we had to live with the way it was written for that game, even tho its not how the role is typically used. The guy who caught the error was the town doc, and it was not his role that was messed up.

I would call that closer to what I was looking for.
