Hi guys. Here are some catch-up thoughts:

  • The wagon on tay seems to have come out of nowhere. I don't think slimer's feels like a genuine case.
  • I feel NS's false-hammer is ballsy enough to probably be town, but odd nonetheless.
  • Lincoln looks scummy, his is exactly what he did as scum in Micro 115, which just finished - trying to leave RVS by declaring a vote "no longer random" for towncred. Haven't seen him do it as town. is a rather weak retroactive justification.
  • Carey's accidental "holy shit I put you at L-1" actually seems genuine to me and I wholeheartedly agree with the Lincolm vote.
  • Goodmorning hasn't really posted anything for me to base a read off yet, but I'll keep an eye on her.

VOTE: Lincolm

So you claim that for this game you "changed" your town-meta to look like your scum-meta from 115?

I like to chance my meta every time, so no. Well, you will see this I do it as town.

Your post 33 is something you have only done as scum before. After I call you out on it, you claim that you change your meta every time, which is why your meta now looks like your scum-meta from Micro 115 - that's a horrible retroactive excuse.

That reads differently though. Stating "I'm Mafia, Discuss!" that early doesn't strike me as you trying to pick up town-cred for helping leave RVS, whereas your posting here and in 115 does.

Because this isn't the only tab I have open? Leaving RVS is, of course, a good thing, but the way you attempted to do it here and in 115 made you seem as though you're trying to gather town-cred by appearing to make an effort to leave RVS, while not actually contributing much to useful discussion. As scum, you don't have an actual incentive to leave RVS, but you have an incentive to look as though you're trying to. In Micro 115 you were, in fact, scum, so my reasoning is that you are scum here, too.

Lincolm, I'm not using my generic impression of your meta for a tell, I'm saying how a specific post of yours could have scum motivation and I'm using a very specific occurrence where you did the same thing and were scum to substantiate that read.

Hmm, I believe you for now, Lincolm, but EGMOY...
UNVOTE:

GM: wanna explain your GNR vote? tay's leaving is suspicious, but we can't get any answers out of GNR regarding that.
Carey: do you really think NS was only being stupid with his fakehammer? I don't see any particular reason for scum to do that.
Lincolm: what/who did you mean by "this thread is becoming scum daytalk" in 112?

Lincolm, the only reason I suspected you to begin with is because I've seen you do it as scum. Of course NS might be scum, but I have no reason to believe his reaction test is a scumtell. I asked about Carey's reaction because his vote of NS struck me as odd. I wasn't all too concerned about your reaction, since being the target, I found it obvious you would double-check to see whether you'd been hammered.

Carey, you have now twice voted for Lincolm after he told you to. After your introduction in saying that you "vote early and often" I don't like the look of that.
Why did you not vote him straight away and if you think he's scum, why would you then do what he says?

Carey: Saying "I'm a silly noob, please disregard all of my scummy behavior" is just plain awful. Other people should read you as a VI - you showing awareness of your own newbiness kind of defeats the whole purpose of that read.

I AM SOO HUNGOVER AND WHAT THE HELL IS THIS GAME?

If this weren't the 'two mislynches and we're gone' kind of game, I'd wanna see Carey and GNR lynched out of principle. That being said, Carey is still a good lynch.

Also, slimer's last two posts are slightly odd. Why not just hammer Carey?

LyLo, actually.

The slot I'm most suspicious of from yesterday is Lincolm/Majiffy for his RVS behavior. Lincolm's quick vote/unvote on slimer looks odd, too.

I doubt NS is scum given his fake and real hammers, which leaves one scum in GM and Slimer. Slimer should be lynched for bad jokes, but I think GM is slightly more suspicious. She avoided the spotlight and changed from a slight town-read on Carey to 'Intent to Hammer' without much explanation and then didn't follow through on that Intent.

GM: why did you decide not to hammer Carey after he didn't self-unvote?

I'm getting a bit of an odd feeling from that post by slimer. It's not as though discussing the NK can help us, why would you bring that up?

I'm not sure the Doc should claim. If he does, he'll certainly be killed tonight. We have the same chance of lynching scum if the Doc only claims to avoid a lynch.

For what it's worth, two correct protects can buy us an extra day.

Stop talking about the NK! We have no idea how/whether scum knew GNR was the Cop, or whether they just guessed. It's all just wild speculation/WIFOM and won't help us find scum.

We're not going to be able to tie anything about the NK to a specific person. It's not as though anyone made it obvious they figured out GNR was a cop. There's just too much WIFOM attached to the NK to draw any meaningful conclusions from it.

I wanted to hear from NS before commenting further. I don't see anything wrong with his hammer and completely agree with his justification, and I find it odd that you're now retroactively saying that your read on Carey was moving towards town when you mentioned nothing of the sort yesterday. It looks to me as though you were trying to avoid the attention of hammering a townie yesterday and are now justifying it by saying you were getting a derpTown read on him.

Didn't you get the memo? This is LyLo and we've lost the cop. Why mention that town 'usually' wins games like this? Do you actually find Majiffy's play scummy, or is that all residual from Lincolm? Majiffy has just been...Majiffy-like. A part of me wants to lynch him, because I'm not going to get a proper read on Majiffy and Lincolm was scummy, but I think I prefer going for GM for now.

The banter between slimer and GM looks a bit like overconfident scumbuddies, whereas if Majiffy is scum with GM, he'd be bussing her pretty hard.

Slimer being generally banterous I agree with. I've not played with him before, but I looked through a few of his games. GM's back-banter is more atypical from what I've seen of her play.
