In the quote, 'him' is Vi, while 'you' is Benmage. Kind of coach-y, definitely a kid gloves approach. This is also one of the reasons I've been interested in Benmage, along with the l-1 'blame someone else' wagon hop on penguin. The other CES namecheck is here:

OGML, you have given no reasoning for a Benmage wagon other than a throwaway comment in Post 1141. Why the surprise when people keep asking that question, when you are clearly capable of much more than what you have put out so far?

Reasons to suspect Benmage should be self evident. You express suspicion of him yourself. It just feels like people keep tossing this throwaway question at me as an excuse to ignore Ben themselves.

All right. First lets go over CTD's contributions, to remind everyone why they should go have a look for themselves at the dead scum's posts. This should help us get to the end goal here of dead Ben (and dead CES), and also dismantle this wagon on me, which I had some choice adjectives for that I'll leave on the cutting room floor today.

Why was Llamarble's refrain making you uncomfortable when Empire, Tammy and I keep reaffirming we are all Town? What is it about Llamarble that doesn't apply to the other three?

You three have been doing it (as far as I can tell) for most of the game, and most everybody else has been on the "well if you all say so let's go ahead and say so" train.
