As AP points out, I'm claiming that a messiah town flip doesn't make you scum, and vice versa. I don't see any good reason to think you're necessarily of opposite alignments. I think scum have a incentive to push the opposite alignment idea between themselves.

I have to applaud Majiffy for the best chainsaw defense I've ever seen, but that doesn't change it's basic nature. Cyro's actions, including the unprompted 1v1 offer, mean that they're scum. Slandaar's making a fundamentally sound case against Cyro. Majiffy, while he's got some good points, also appears to be forcing the case - Slandaar's ATE to lynch Cyro was clearly different than Cyro's 1v1 offer. Why? Because it came after he had made a thorough case against Cyro, and not in response to a suggestion that he and Cyro were both scum.

Slandaar is doing his town-tunnel thing in which he tunnels obsessively against someone he's got a scum read on. I've seen it work pretty well. While he has played similarly as scum, he tends to be more all out as town.
