I will find some games I have been in with him one is scum one is town and I was sure he was scum in that one too lol. Good thing Thor replaced in when he did.

Will do some ISOing and see who I think is on the dark side of things.

Saint is unfortunately probably town based on his tantrums, but uggh would be good vig bait. Or a good PL if we are close to deadline but in general other than avoiding a NL situation, I am not really fond of PLs, I prefer to focus on finding scumz.

Since I am very familiar with the books, I figure there is probably a mafia PR (Voldemort) and probably 2 goons based on the number of players. The goons most likely would have Death Eater names. I could be wrong though, I know some mods mix it up a bit to make it less obvious.

but the part about one mafia PR of some sort plus 2 goons is a good guess I think based on having 14 players.

comes from video games, where the monsters or whatever have an aggro range and when you reach that range they attack. If you can stay out of that range, they leave you alone. Knowing what their range is helps you find times to hang back to heal up then attack some more.

i can explain that easily Deas. Normally I have no probs with players but every once in a while one comes along like ahem Kassadin, Raspberry dude, Radiant Cowbells... who are clearly VI material in the game and are probably town but you wish they were scumz so you can lynch them before lylo. Cause you know the scumz wont NK them because they cause too many issues for town. Those are players that I call vig bait. It is a generic term and does not mean there is a vig in any specific game.

I lol'd at being called rude me? I am probably one of the least aggressive players on site.

now look at his cases the one on mhork sucks, and the one on me sucks even worse. Even if I really were being rude, that is most definitely not a scum tell or a town tell that is a null tell. I can point to several players who are way ruder than anything that has happened in this game so far and show that they were town in those games. Have you ever played with Kuribo? He would eat you for breakfast lol.

Seriously Saint VI means Village Idiot, it is a specific term for mafia and has no bearing on your IQ level. I also would dare say that many of the players on MS would qualify for Mensa, we tend to draw a lot of geeky peeps. And besides there is a lot more to being a person than just your IQ.

Iffen you are really town, and I am kinda leaning that you are prob town, you need to look at the bigger picture and not just tunnel mhork and now me.

My point was with all of that is that I am not sure how strictly the mod stayed to the book and how much he modified it to make it more challenging and to make sure it was balanced.

I feel the likelihood of 3 scumz is pretty good with 13 players, other setup common in minis is 2 scumz 1 Sk and 10 townies.

Though this is a theme game and they have a bit more flexibility than the normal games. But he did state no jesters cults etc so its more like a normal then.

I have seen or been in a few theme games that got rather unusual with their roles like Author Mafia for example. We had some bizarre roles there lol. Bork's NFL upick too had some strange ones.

But for now I am going to assume it is more like a normal game with 3 scumz and 10 townies, unless I see evidence otherwise.

In book one I could see Quirrel who is possessed by Voldemort obviously, Snape is possible too, he is rather suspicious in most of the books and it really is not until book 7 that we finally see him cleared. Malfoy and his buddies Crabbe and Goyle also good choices. There really are not a lot of villains in Book 1.

I will admit I am a bit snarky lately dealing with sharing a computer has made both work and play somewhat difficult for both of us especially since we work from home. Good news is I probably will have my new computer in a week or less woot. The hearing aid issue does not help I am finding myself headachy and exhausted a lot and making stupid mental errors.

I do believe that being a vanilla cop that DVs results would come back as either vanilla or not vanilla, that basically he is a PR hunter. He was not able to tell alignment. Kind of an odd PR to have.... and makes me think that there is at least one scum PR out there. Which would also make sense based on the number of town PRs we seem to have.
