RULES (Straight up Stolen from Mr. Stoofer who adapted them from MeMe’s and DP’s rulesets)

[01] Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.
[02] Please be attentive and unvote, if necessary, before casting a new vote. This is not required, but I’d appreciate it.
[03] Lynching will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, their pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded. Feel free to post in twilight, though.
[04] You may vote: no lynch. Majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.
[05] If I impose a day deadline, lynching will require at least half of the regular majority at deadline. In case of a tie, first come first served. In the endgame (six players or fewer) only lynches with a regular majority will occur.
[06] When I set a day deadline, the deadline lasts until I actually lock the thread.
[07] The game is not to be discussed outside the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so – and then only at night.
[08] Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead.
[09] Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts.
[10] Don’t quote any PMs from me. If you do, I will destroy you.
[11] If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you. If you do not submit a choice to me, I’ll make it for you and you won’t like it.
[12] If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
[13] Unlike other mods I am fallible. Please point out any mistakes I make gently. In particular, if I post a vote count that does not accurately reflect your vote, it is your responsibility to correct me. If you don’t your vote may be treated as it appears in the vote count.
[14] If you have any questions at all, please PM me or post the question in the thread.
[15] Remember, it’s a game and it’s supposed to be fun. Be nice to your fellow players and your mod. I have zero tolerance for abusive posts.
[16] Please submit all choices to both mods in case one of them is unavailable at any given time.

How happy is the blameless Vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd.

You all awake, you don't seen anything out of the ordinary, however you all know something is amiss. 11 alive 6 to lynch.

By the way, I don't think any of us have ever heard of the Lord of the Rings. And I definitely haven't heard of the main character, Aragorn. Or the fact that he was a Ranger of the North.

Heh, I like that mechanic. The no reveal thing sucks though. We could already be down a power role. :(

This is going to be one really long day 1.. or short... depending on how you look at it

Man, never played in a game like this before. We won't even know if we lynched correctly!

Oh.

My.

God.

>.<

I hate no-reveals. I wish I'd've realized what the movie was about before this. =\

So, this makes it insanely hard. We'll never really know if a cop dies. We'll never know when mafia dies. We can't check bandwagon trails as easily.

Of all the games, why couldn't I have been scum this time?

*gets ready to take a ton of notes, unsure of what the mod may edit...or erase?*

Okay, well I know this movie like the back of my hand. From the method of killing(erasing from everyone's memory), I think it's pretty safe to say that the Mafia is Laguna(the memory erasing company). As such, I'm not sure it is particularly likely that our lynch victims will be part of the "no reveal" theme. We're killing them, not Laguna. Furthermore, the memory erasing process must be done on people while they sleep. So when we lynch someone, there's no way Laguna could erase our memories before we go to sleep. It doesn't make sense, from a flavor standpoint. But I guess we'll see.

The mod erased our memories of that 12th player, who presumably got killed by the mafia.

(Note: For extra emphasis, it was the mod, and only from the first post, so far. He can do that.)

And I swear if he goes crazy with that theme in later nights... >.<

@Cropcircles, Commodore: *blink* No, I'm being serious here. Unless the town's roles are very much tipped in our favor, the limitation of info makes a huge swing for the mafia, and it gives me so many awesome ideas I'd love to do if only I were mafia.

Anyone want to hear some of the ideas I wish I could've done?

I don't particularly feel like hearing some good ideas for scum in this game. Also, you're not really female, are you?

Commodore Amazing wrote:Also, you're not really female, are you?
Yes I am.

I'd like to hear more opinions on what I'm posting, though.

Especially from the scum, obv, as opposed to the likely misguided townies such as you.

Jentzu: I understand what you were saying. The tell is that you came out and declared yourself town. It's something mafia often do to look townie-ish.

I don't declare myself town. I lay low, use very sound-sounding logic, and at a strategically crippling time for the town declare myself cop, leading people in like sheep.

Don't want to trust that? Check games I've been in, here, MiseTings, or wherever.

Nevertheless, I have never declared myself town day one as scum.

There's a first time for everything...

Mafia is a game in which the unpredictable thrive. I don't like using past games as a resource when examining behavior, as a resourceful player can skillfully change that.

However, if you can convince the rest of us that you are town
