In post 24, Cabd wrote:Oh, and the rest of you newbies. One thing that was in the links but I feel it's wise to re-iterate. Never EVER EVER self-hammer. No matter how much you want to "show us all" it's against your win condition. It has a few niche valuable uses as scum, but if you do it as town, you're essentially claiming scum.
tbh, it has no benefit for scum either, it's just stupid.

That being said, semi-serious vote.

@Mod: I'm voting Derivan, not myself as well.
Fixed, thanks. ~~NS

OK, let me explain why I called it a semi-serious vote.

I wanted the bandwagon to accumulate to L-2, so we could gauge Derivan's reaction. 1 vote isn't going to get a reaction out of somebody, but 3 will. His recent post was null though.

That being said, I'm willing to actually switch onto Cabd, attempting to use activity as a scumtell is scummy in itself in my personal opinion. People can't post everytime they come online, and calling them out for it, especially this early in the game is daft.

UNVOTE: Derivan
VOTE: Cabd

I don't get the logic about me and Jason voting off the 2 most experienced players here, I never put a vote on goodmorning.

I'm pretty sure Cabd was joking about him being sent info, it was just an RVS vote.

I also have an early town read on Guyett.

Semi-serious to get a reaction.

Derivan is stumbling over his words a bit, but he's not overly scummy.

Derivan's cases against me and Jason make absolutely no sense, and his posting style is now coming across as manufactured.

Cabd strikes me as somebody who'd bus their partners early, so a Cabd/Dev team could be possible.

Either way, they're my top 2 early scum reads.

Leaning Town on Jason, but may need to re-evaluate.

JS, Early suggests not set in stone, and somewhat weak, but I still have you as an early Town read Guyett.

Also, gm, can you explain your vote on me?

Why do I feel Derivan is scum?

He makes really long-winded posts which personally appear to me as contrived, and he's fence sitting, locking himself down into ultra defence, without throwing down any vote. He seems to be keen only to advance his own agendas in the game atm.

Also, goodmorning, you've still avoided to say why I am scum.

Oh I missed that.

1. I've already explained that.
2. Explain
3. Can't really argue with gut.

4. He comes off as legit new, his questions don't seem contrived or from a scum viewpoint.
5. And how is that scummy? That's really more half-assed than anything.
6. Explained.

In post 162, goodmorning wrote:1. At the time it was a major reason for me voting you, so I thought I'd better include it. I also find your later explanation unsatisfactory. More on this in 5.
2. Explain what? You aren't reading like you do in your Town games.

4.
Now
, but at the time you said that?
5. If you actually are Town doing a reaction test and it involves a certain set of conditions, you don't half-ass it. You try to prod those conditions into being met. If you're Scum, on the other hand, then it doesn't matter if the conditions are met since you don't actually need to test anyone.
1. Well, I think it's satisfactory, but OK.
2. Again, expand.

4. Because he didn't know when scum could talk, it came across as a townslip.
5. A fair point, but I'm just lazy in general. Loads of games, loads of IRL, and burnout don't help.

I am not overly keen to hammer best at all. To me, he comes across as newb-Town more than newb-Scum. I can't really see his actions coming across from scum.

That being said, the interactions between Cabd and GoodMorning are interesting. Have a feeling one of them is scum, and it's probably Cabd because of his recent shitty case against Guyett.

Still think Dev is scum though, and he should be lynched as opposed to Best.

Dev/Cabd scum.
Best/Guyett/Jason and probably Garantula Town.
Null on Goodmorning and Darq.

OK, can someone on the Best wagon explain to me why he's scum? I iso'd him and he's just a little bit newby and slapdash. Sure, he could flip scum, but I'm finding that unlikely. He's being set up as an easy target here.

Again, Derivan is scummy for jumping on the wagon without adding anything. Can we have more pressure on this guy?

Vote for your scummiest read, it's helpful for the Town.

Also, don't reveal votes as pressure, or they lose their purpose.

BRB, LAUGHING MYSELF TO DEATH
didn't you
just
do that a page ago?
But this is overall a correct statement.
Hey, I learnt from my mistake.

As for Cabd, I can agree he's scummy too, I would list reasons, but it would just be parroting tbh. I still find Dev to be worse though.

@Jason: You're over-reacting, and that makes you look really opportunistic. While I sort of see where you are coming from, it doesn't change the fact that he's probably a newb towny who's indecisive and a little bit worried about his appearance, but not in a scummy way.

@Garan: I'm trying to look at his motives for the stuff he does, and they're more likely to come from newb Town than newb Scum. Also, it's kind of a gut feeling too. Also read Jason.

You guys seriously need to look at how opportunistic Dev is.

Honestly, I have no idea what's going on with Guyett and Cabd. I'd rather Cabd than Guy because Guy townslipped earlier on, and it's based on gut.

JS, that was such a silly play by Town, Deriv was pretty much Conf Town if you ask me.

Also, after I requested sub-out, I had a scum-read on ryhx. Jason did well though, he was always slightly on my Town radar.

Overall, scum deserved win though.

He claimed 1-Shot Bulletproof before Tracker flipped, whilst you claimed D3, after Tracker had flipped. If he was scum, he would have been pretty lucky. Plus no CC at the time.
