Oi, to head off questions of this nature: I respond to nearly any variation of my name from the full thing to DDD, Danny to DDDP to "Hey, you" as long as I know that I'm the "Hey, you" you're referring to. As the IC, I'm here to answer questions and provide some order to the game while also playing the game. If you have some question not related directly to your role (those questions should be sent to Nexus) feel free to ask them. It is much better to ask a question than to blunder and hurt the town accidentally.

Other than that, you get out of this game what you put in. So if you want to have fun, come in with a positive attitude, don't take any debate, arguments, or accusations personally and just pretend it's Pat Benetar and give it your best shot. I think experience is the best teacher and so unless otherwise prompted I'll be playing the game the same as the rest of you.

asked what people think about no-lynch (). No-lynch always bad for town execpt in very specific situations like mylo. So anyone wanting to go for no-lynch is either poor player or scum. This was a weird move to ask peoples opinion on thing like this.
Take a stand, is it interesting scum or interesing poor play?

I’m terrified that telling you my time zone will out me as scum.
In post 60, Feel It wrote:Z7-852 has been fairly active and been making good observations, already trying to assess and pick up early scum tells, seems the most townie to me so far.
Disagree, his posting has looked more like fluff than useful content.
In post 63, HopefullyCynical wrote:DDP, can I get a clarification on a facet of your role as IC? If you die, are you no longer able to help the newbie players out?
If I’m dead the only people I’ll be speaking to are players in a Dead QT if we have one. However, RVS wagons almost never reach lynch so I doubt there was serious targeting of me by the players on my wagon.

When your views align with mine you’re agreeing when they align with someone I disagree with you’re sheeping.

Very reasonable, you should probably vote for him as well for being so reasonable.

Pretty dubious to call V/LA then post in three other games but not ours mvm.
In post 104, HopefullyCynical wrote:Danny, can I get a little bit more on why you don't like Z7 other than he makes you feel uneasy? I know it's Day 1 so there I don't expect incredibly detailed answers, but your reasoning is a little vague.
It was mostly how he substituted the word interesting for anything useful in his second post that bothered me; it's nothing substansive but felt like I should poke at him a bit.
In post 107, Dessew wrote:I don't know what to say about DDDP, the way he tried to get votes to the Z7-wagon is funny but maybe it's not even worth noting.

the use of wording is a scum tell now? please expand?

sorry? had him? Had him doing what? or is this sarcasm?
Of course wording can be a scumtell; for example in that case Z7's wording was safe wording designed not to pick a fight, which is more likely a scum attribute than a town attribute.

And for those not in on the joke(s) from earlier...

In post 180, mvmafia wrote:gotta agree with fuzz that z7 isnt following his scummometer at 149.

What you guys think of Z7 ?
I often write off hypocrisy like I saw from mvm earlier in regards to FuD, but this is more than a little bothersome. Someone else can't be a little inconsistent? Of course there are good possible reasons to disregard a top scumread in favor of lesser reads depending on circumstances, I'd in fact say it's a town attribute not to be wedded to one's stances. The real dodgy part is where he blatently solicitates for other's views; isntead of taking a stance himself he's probing things to see if he can get away with a move there.

In post 256, FuDuzn wrote:Notscience, why are you trying to make somethings out of not really anything? HC is bringing up a good point, when you have a couple flips it is good to look at interactions the dead players had.
It's not nothing; it's actually a "classic" scumtell which may mean it's antiquated and wrong but at some point it was apparently actually a scum signifier.
In post 257, HopefullyCynical wrote:Reviewing the posts, Smudger was one of the biggest anti-Feel It players here. What do you guys make of that?
You mean the Smudger who curiously came up behind notscience's point with a half-dozen quotes backing up notscience's argument and just leaves them there to try and erode my reputation? But doesn't do anything with them beyond that? Yeah, that was a curious play.

And while Smudger and notscience try to dismiss HC's point and maybe they're right do so because HC phrased it backwards and I'm not sure whether he meant it that way or not. The argument is still valid however because it isn't that Feel It was killed because Smudger thought FI was scum, the real argument is Feel It was killed because he thought Smudger was scum and would keep pushing on him today and Smudger wanted to escape the possible pressure.

In post 266, Smudger wrote:Danny do you really think Feel It was pushing me? As I don"t. In fact his attention to me was minimal and of no pressure yo me. Even your rather weak case here that you are trying to build seems pretty poor in comparison. Now with regard to your observation concerning my quotes of your fluff, so? Sk you feel threatened by them? I think not, and as for not commenting afterwards, I was actually waiting to see your response and that is now duly noted. Finally, your reputation? What reputation?
If I had to pick one person Feel It was pushing it would be you and I think that's pretty obvious. In fact I think he was the only one to push you so despite his pressure being "minimal" if it was the only pressure why not prune the vine before it has a chance to grow at all? Everyone has a reputation in this game, being an IC generally means you're afforded more respect from the new players whether it's warranted or not. Yours was the sort of play I'd make to damage someone's credibility so that the other players would be less likely to listen to them.
In post 271, FuDuzn wrote:
In post 269, notscience wrote:Then who is the other scum if they wanted Feel it off their back?
Notscience, why do you continue to badger HC about him bringing up good analysis? It is like you are trying to discredit him because he hasn't figured out the scum team yet.
VOTE: notscience
Completely opposite take, HC isn't bringing up good analysis, he's bringing up what could be good analysis if he refined it a little and thought about it instead of just pushing it out the front door. And that's why he's likely town there's no neat plan he's pushing it's the jumbled thoughts of someone trying to fit things together.

There's nothing legitimate about this intent to claim nor is there in Z7s or HC's votes (Z7 at the very least acknowledges that fact) and yet I'm sitting here with the gallows hanging over my head? Lol?
Would you stop whining about process and instead do something about the perception that you're scum? I have absolutely no problem with a quicklynch; I do have a problem with you being quicklynched because despite you being irritating as hell I think you're town.

Oh hey, we won. I would've lynched FuDuzn like woah but I probably would've picked Smudger over Dessew (but I wasn't paying much attention to the day as it was ongoing so maybe that would've changed my mind). Nice work town and agreed that scum erred in making it a pair of 1 v 1 when it would've been better to all claim VT create a three person pool and even make the BP a question mark in that way.
