I tend to buy miller claims on day 1, too. The way this claim was made bothered me, though, like it could be an offhand rvs-phase joke rather than a serious claim.

This was my concern with the claim, it looked to me like a claim that you could back out of if the situation required, but I guess that option isn't available anymore

People don't usually get placed at L-1 so early on the first day of play. And explain your reasoning as per the second sentence.

This is a micro game and L-1 is when people actually start to back off from a wagon. That's a risk I didn't want to take. For the second sentence, my claim is going to force the town into a mislynch. I have a little something extra that prevents me from getting quicklynched at lylo by scum with no repercussions so I figured I'd be mostly safe even if I didn't claim.

What motivations would he have to do so as Scum? As Town?

Scum knows who the town is, so when they don't have any fabricated reads to throw around, it is really easy for them to say someone is town because they know they're going to be correct. Town's job is to find out who is scum, so townreads are of little help unless there's a really small pool of players left (which is not the case here)

Out of the three he's contributed the least content.
That said it's giving me a bit of a headache because his claim is objectively stronger than the other two.
Come to think of it MC hasn't done much recently, but his early game stuff was quite solid.
AS has the weakest claim but unless they're faking their content they just are acting really Town.

I think both of these abilities are legit, though being asectic and being hated can also be scum roles. I'm leaning MC is more likely be scum over TMT.

I am still unsure about Bro, though I do think GM is likely town, I like her reactions to what has happened so far

I started to like the BRO wagon. Mostly because of his self-meta-VI defense. I want to jump on it after a VC happens.

kdub which players do you think are flying spectacularly under the radar compared to you (besides AA9, that's a given atm).

I would say AA, MC, and TMT. I will also point out that I think MC and TMT are probably town from their claims, but that is independent of my opinion of their play so far.

The way GM got in ffery's way makes it look like they aren't scum together. GM was disrupting ffery's questioning of me, which would make it potentially harder for her to discern my alignment, and might throw me off and misread her. At the same time, ffery has been pretty intent on pushing me, but hasn't actually put a vote down on me. Scum pushing for a mislynch while not actually being on the lynch is fairly standard. GM being disruptive would just be disruptive town play, in that case (which happens, and threw me off my first game).

The reason why I think kdub might be scum is because of how aggressively so people turned against me after the vote. kdub has been coasting a bit without any real pressure, and when I try to apply pressure I immediately get attacked. There has to be town in there, given that ffery/AS/bork/GM all responded negatively to my attack in one way or another, but the push feels too opportunistic.

Fair enough on GM/ffery. I don't see your problem with the reaction to your vote on me though. Do you see that people attacked you not simply because you voted for me, but because your stated reasoning for that vote was extremely tenuous?

...and the motive for undermining a miller claim would be what, exactly? I could see cluing in my scum buddy, but the better play would be letting town policy wagon the miller and let them go down in flames when the IC reveal happened. Or, more likely, rolecop someone more useful, and I wouldn't expect goodmorning to have let AA9 get away with rolecopping AS.
