Now, act two. I got to ask: does anyone else have an ability with text that approximately says "you don't know what this ability does or how to activate it"?

I have never played a Vi game, if that's what you're asking. I simply was trying to get somewhere. If everyone had such an ability, I'd be able to start understanding the mechanical makeup of this game a bit better. Whatever, though, I got my answer then, let's move on.

If I just died I'm gonna be hella mad. My post was fishing, yes, I completely agree with the statement. But, like, I was fishing for a piece of information that really doesn't give the scum any info(oh no, they know I have an ability in what is likely to be a game with no vanilla townies!). In my eyes, it can only help the town to have setup knowledge of things that can show where on the complexity scale and bastardness scale we're at, no?

I can extract some amount of logic in the setup simply from knowing the fact that I have an unknown ability, and that no one else has an ability with the same limitations. I know a lot of people don't believe in playing WIFOM in the mod, but I feel--and have always felt--that it is one thing I excel at(and, by looking at my game history, one would find I typically seek out games with a high mechanical complexity or gimmicks).

You're annoying and for someone who called me a newbie is the pot calling the kettle black(PS I THINK YOU'RE PROB SCUM), Lambdadelta is secretly probably good at this game, Tierce is obviously good at this game, and DTMaster is ballsy as hell. The only information I have to give is role-related, and why would I want to give out any of that in the situation that DTMaster didn't actually kill me? There's a difference between full-claiming and claiming an ability that is, for all intents and purposes, worthless.

If I'm actually dead, then my alignment will flip soon anyway and the vote will not matter. It has some elements to OMGUS to it, as well. If I don't die, I have no idea what motivation someone would have for bluffing a dayvig. At best, it's a null-tell this early. I don't want to send TIP to a quicklynch, even if I think he's scum, because he seems like the type who will fuck over his partners if given the right impetus, so my vote is in limboland right now.

Time for setup speculation(and if you have a problem with it tough shit).

So, the numbers have been in every post since the beginning of the game. They didn't go from 0->12 until the lynch though. The number increase also included the phrase, "there was a burst of chaos". This ties into rule #5 in special game mechanics(which, if you guys didn't notice, was actually added a full day after the third rule was stricken out and the fourth rule was added).

Some facts
-The counter only increased at the lynch.
-The counter did not increase at daybreak.
-There was no nightkill.

So, my assumption is that the counter will only increase from one of three factors
1. Death of a player(likely)
2. End of each day(less likely)
2. DTMaster's fake dayvig thing(extremely unlikely)
4. Some other hidden factor

Now, working off the facts, I am assuming 60 is the magic number still. It lines up with the 12 from Haar's death(which 80 doesn't). Of course, that's just blatant speculation.
What happens when the counter hits it's number? I have a couple ideas.
1. A "Mass Outrage" starts. Per rule five. What does that do? I have no fucking clue. (very likely)
2. The game ends. (less likely)
3. Some other effect.

I suspect that "Mass Outrage" has win-condition altering abilities, due to rule 4's wording(but, again, this is pure speculation based on breadcrumbs).

I really don't have very many good reads at the moment. I believe Andrius didn't mean to hammer(I actually thought TIP was at L-2 at the time myself), LLD and Jabberwock are coming off as town, I guess. Since three of the players didn't even get to post, I can't even say anything.

Anyways, I have trouble scumhunting--I much prefer to let other people do the legwork and then figure out which case I believe in more. I distinctly avoid going into games with little mechanical focus for that reason(a mountainous game would be a nightmare for me). Setup speculation is the most fun part of the game for me(well, this varies on the game).

I'm not sure where I'm going in this argument. My play has been terrible this game, this I think we can both agree on. I should go back to my gadfly nature and just snark at people. Props on the dayvig thing though.

I'm reading town on Sakura Hana, but that vote makes literally the least sense. DTM is one person I have a town read on(as well as half of the wonderland hydra and LLD). Oil Tycoons depends just on whether they die today or not, so I reserve judgment.

I had no reason to suspect that the numbers in this game worked the same way as they did in the old game. In this case, I had two vote counts of evidences and a daybreak as evidence that the numbers didn't increase unless there was a dead.

These two posts don't equate at all. Going from I have little experience to Vote: I have seen this before but can't tell you where. Meta takes a lot of games and experience to be done properly.

Alright, so I currently have three games of focus on Saki--considering the dates on his joining the site and my return(less than two months ago), you might make an assumption about the games we have share(d). I can't spell this out for you.

Anyone who read my rants in other games in this exact forum will know I absolutely hate the idea and process of "meta"ing someone out. Half the time it isn't even applicable. In fact, I hate myself for doing it, but I am so completely lost in this game it isn't even funny. I don't particularly trust anyone else's reads right now, so I'm trying something new. I am willing to believe my vote was placed hastily, however. Not removing it yet, because Saki's play today(NOT yesterday, however) looks very similar.
