I'm voting Rach because I see a lot of similarities in post content/structure between this game and another game we played together while she was sick. She frequently would make short posts like this in that game, with the post only saying she was sick so she couldn't do much, except ask random questions separately (you know also the kind that sound like "wtf why did that happen ???") and constantly refer back to herself being sick whenever she was criticized for... well, anything, not just inactivity. There are a few other things about her posts here that I'm finding hard to explain, but a small part of it is also the random "oh I'm here now guess I have to ISO some people to look town right??".In post 196, ChannelDelibird wrote:In case I hadn't sufficiently implied it, my previous experience with Jason leads me to believe that he is not doing anything particularly differently here to when I have seen him as town before. With that in mind, Stubbs is actually scummy, so that's why you should vote for him.
Marquis, given RachMarie's pretty good reasons for not being here very much, you should probably vote for scum while you give her time to do things.
Sure I have sympathy for her, being sick, but I don't think she should be given a free pass just because of that. It happened in Newbie 1395 as scum, and we almost didn't lynch her because of it.link in bio- Marquis

I dislike this but I don't know why.In post 272, LnGrrrR wrote:How has Jason been more helpful?
Additionally, I will be pretty pissed if Marquis ends up getting replaced as well. It is still early enough to avoid a modkill, but I really dislike when a slot gets replaced multiple times.link in bio- Marquis

It's confusing, particularly your vote on me which I'm assuming is intended for pressure, but really just looks like scum overdoing it in not wanting to be called out for not putting their money where their mouth is.In post 364, LnGrrrR wrote:VOTE: Marquis
Marquis, you have gotten quiet again. Wha do you think of the current game state?
In other words, your vote when coupled with a sudden comment on my limited activity, and your question-for-the-sake-of-asking-a-question, are both bullshit, dear.

Also, feel free to discredit this all as OMGUS as you see fit. Bye.
pedit: Colin just made Harry's life worse, ngl. I'd really see Colin being a negative utility role more than anything, but he claimed he had JOAT powers so that's moot for now.link in bio- Marquis

Apparently you're not the only one who townreads Rach.
She's not getting lynched.
Asking me what I think of the game as far as I can see doesn't actually give anyone any helpful information. It's much too broad to guarantee anything concrete will come out of it, and if you want me to explain reads on people I'd rather you have asked specifically instead of just pushing me to give reads on everyone just for the sake of it. Like posting for the sake of posting- is talking often just to show you're open and amiable to talk something that town and scum should consistently do? I don't think so.
When I said "intended for pressure", it's what it looked like. I think you're scum because you put a vote on me which tried to scream "I'm town and I'm going to pressure vote him for lurking".
Syry implying that she absolutely has to vote someone even if she doesn't know now strikes me as off. I've done it as town before but I just don't like it. I also don't like my hypocrisy here and how my analysis of that is probably going to result in nothing of consequence.link in bio- Marquis

ok I've been ignoring this for far too long but I find it unlikely that we already have 3 genuine power role claims during day 1 and while I don't fully believe that there is a conventional/effective town JOAT, it's much more likely that Jason's actions are almost exactly as he says and weak, except he has access to a scum nightkill as well which would make the role much more viable.
there's already a lot of people null- to scum-reading him so don't say this lynch is not viable. we have like 12 hours though so if you're going to lynch me hurry up too, read the wagon tomorrow or something

Ginny Weasley, a Hogwarts-aligned Townie and a Gryffindor who wants to eliminate any known threats to Hogwarts. I'm also one out of only two characters who fit the "lovers" flavor in the first post, though I'm fairly sure Harry and I aren't lovers in the mafia sense.
Like I said, I also have a huge town read on Lngrrrr for the claim. Everything about it makes sense, especially his delivery.
I don't know what to think of CDB except slight scum.
I am very confident that Jason is scum. Why?
-I don't think there are 2 town JOATs in the game.
-People seemed to be ignoring him for the past few days which isn't exactly a scum tell but I dislike that certain people are pushing the idea of him as scum to the side so easily.
-His weak powers when compared to Stubbs' claimed powers make sense when you add in access to a factional nightkill.
-Finally, 3/4 claims we have today are all Gryffindor house. Yes, the word is "Hogwarts-aligned", but being the odd one out and a second JOAT doesn't help Jason's claim much.
-p.s. Colin, Nearly Headless Nick, and Ginny all encountered and were (near) victims of the Basilisk. Not Filch. It makes sense that Filch is working against Harry Potter in the 2nd book, despite his overall actions toward the end of the series.
1 and a half hours left today. I'm getting lynched. Sorry that my activity kind of sucked, but please follow up on thislink in bio - Marquis
