Prideandjoy, I think the Miller claim is genuine. However, I can see where some would disagree. Why is voting a claimed miller bad?

Tammy do you think elle hardbussed Spyrex to avoid scumhunting given Spyrex was in a policy lynch situation? (supposing that Spyrex hammered without a claim with only reading ISOs)

I am not seeing ellescum. I know that makes it more likely to be lynched but I am not oing to push a bad lynch to sav myself.

Looking solely at day 1VCA, ooba and safetydance need scrutiny. Their wagons were above 10 according to the vcs the mod posted. There was no counterwagon on Amrun, which suggests it was heavily scum pushed. On day three my slot was wagoned with Spyrex and spyrex was scum. That suggests scum was pushing my wagon.

Now, let's see if anyone fits the profile I have drawn up. Pushing amrun, pushing me and pushing thor.

SD should be giving this clarification straight forward. Any player in the game SHOULD be able to answer that question with certainty. That's my point. It's ridiculous.

Tierce, what the hell is it you are wanting? I'm looking at the things that stick out to me first, resolving those and figuring out the puzzle. I view each piece as important to the entire puzzle. On one hand, you're dismissing the obvious, scum like to push mislynches so looking at VCAs can be useful, and unclear actions should be clarified. I don't view SD's actions as a petty technicality as his claim was what saved him and Thor's claim is what lynched him if I am understanding right. I push, I interrogate. It may take me awhile to know everything about the players and form reads on everyone. Right now, I want clarity from SD and I'm going to push that until I get clarity and why the hell he's not being clear.

I put the emphasis on where the pieces are in the puzzle. So I ask that question to get a feel for how people are positioned in the game. What people view as important tends to either a) dictate their alignment or b) give me a good starting viewpoint to read from when I come in. I cannot even tell who the town leader is right now, so the pieces aren't all that clear. I'd guess that would be Tammy or Tierce but I don't know. There isn't really a "right" or "wrong" answer, just helpful or unhelpful.

Hey, I first encountered daychat on this site. Daychat never happened on any other site I have been on. I usually assume no daychat. Assumptions about setup don't reflect th skill of the player.

I have never seen a permanent rber. It makes much more sense to include a vanillaizer than a permanent rber unless we are looking at a spree killer. Someone else asked but I cannot find the quote. IDing everyone's social role helps me look for patterns. For instance, Benmage is the village oddball or evil spammer. He is thinking but not thinking in a manner many see or get. That is something I frequently fall into as well.

Supposing elle's claim is true, then Tierce logically must move up the suspicion list. We have had nights without kills and someone who has been rbed the entire time possibly. Tierce, from the general tone of the group currently, is unlikely to be suspected much. Tiere isn't a bad choice to send for a kill.

That's one of the pages. It would take too long to post them all and I have reading to do.

Putting all the pages up would be too much. Finally have some time to get cracking on this thing for awhile before work tomorrow. I'm expecting to get to page 20 or so tonight.

Right now, GR and PnJ are scumreads. Tierce is a solid town read. Shadoweh is conftown for the most part unless he does something really scummy. His wavelength has practically mirrored mine thus far. Kanye is a what the fuck read. Everyone talks about him but I can't read the guy either way.

As of right now, SD/quadz could be T v T. If SD is a total fuckup and misdid his actions, then he can be town while quadz is town. Getting clarity from SD should be the priority. If SD cannot be clear, then I see no harm in following Messiah's approach. If SD is scum, he'll have to make up actions and be caught. If quadz is lying, he will most likely be caught fudging the night claim. After all, all cops should receive my flavor name tonight.

(Of course, this doesn't rule out rolecops or scum joats, but it will be pretty close imo).

@Naut, here's the short version

GR is a current scumread mostly due to his elle vote. Nati head gives a description saying that the heads reached a compromise to vote threats. Instead, the head votes elle in a manner that just suggests piling on. I couldn't determine what threat was given by casting the vote. As the day went on, nothing really allieviated this.

PnJ as a scumread due to his behavior while lynchtrained.

Tierce is a townread due to the aggression. It's not perfect but a decent lean.

Shadoweh is a fucking strong townread because he types whatever I am thinking a few posts later usually. Cannot fake that three or four times as I have seen it happen.

No. SD is saying he tracked Quadz. Quadz is saying he was roleblocked. I was looking at it from SD's point of view in which if he tracked Quadz then he should have tracked quadz to himself (because he was saying he didn't roleblock quadz that night.) I wasn't considering the possibility of someone else roleblocking quadz which would make both their claims correct.

Correct. Also, if SD has his actions messed up, that also prevents a 1 v 1. I'm gravely concerned that scums are pushing a contradiction as an inherent 1 v 1 to try and get two mislynches.

No. You're forgetting the part about all cops getting my flavorclaim and all actions getting redirected to me. Every cop role would have to be scum which is purely asinine. Also, that would require Shadoweh to be scum with me since he's the one who claimed the kill. It's a very unfavorable move for a scum to make to claim a kill when there isn't supposed to be one.

AGar - Lean scum. He seems to not be clear as to what his motivations are. Most might put that as a null. I do not.
Benmage - Clear thought process with emotions that match up with the gamestate and player behavior. Town.
Cephrir - Town. Clear rational thought process. He asks intelligent questions.
elleheathen - Null. I go back and forth on this slot. The wagon on her during the early game was shitty. Her actions do not make sense to me, but I'm having difficulty determining whether or not that is because she is playing differently than I would or whether she is scum. Given the amount of scumreads I have, I'm content with letting elle's slot sort itself out for now.
Garruk Relentless (Natarisha/MafiaSSK) - Scum. His behavior is different than his own heads described it should be. I cannot determine the underlying rationale behind anything, which usually means a scum thought process. The timing of her "theory" is just bad as well. It's an attempt to force something terrible.
Goat on a Raft (Channeldelibird/AurorusVox) - Scum. He is far too quick to clear people as town in the early game and seems to be very passive.
kanyeknowsbest - Town, very similar to Cephir although with different playstyles. It took me awhile to get a beat on this slot as he doesn't seem to approach the game as I do.
Messiah Complex (Desperado/Formerfish) - Town. This looks like Desperado's town games. He's attentive to details and doesn't give into mindgames. I have read Desperado wrong in the past, so I cannot be 100% certain on this read.
Nautilius (Nacho/Ellibereth) - Misguided town. He's willing to discuss things rationally. I don't agree with him but he is willing to admit to the strong points and weak points in his arguments.
ooba - Town. I don't always agree with ooba but his motivations and actions are clear.
Prideandjoy(chesskid3/ActionDan) - Scum. That early game reeked of anyone but me type attitude.
SafetyDance - Slight scum. Logic says he's town given the interactions with Quadz but I just cannot shake the thought of this guy being scum. I'll probably let this sort itself out like Elle.
Shadoweh - Strong town lean. His actions make sense. I cannot see anyone claiming a kill when their should be no kill without them being town. We jived very well at the beginning.
Syrana/The Alchemist - Has a death tunnel on me. Cannot intelligently comment on anyone but me. This suggests a hidden agenda. Scum.
Tierce - Town leader. Willing to take risks and follows the game closely. Anyone throwing dirt on this slot is more likely to be scum.

Yes. During the early game, the dynamics of the group were being settled. However, after I came in, there seemed to be a general consensus with you being town. That combined with your NK and what I have seen suggests that scum likely shot you because they could not get you lynched. If you look at the major lynch trains, I wouldn't be surprised if you were a part of most of them. It seems to me, although I cannot prove this point, that some might be sheeping you because they view you as town without thinking things through. Also, you seem to be very vocal about what the group should do and what is best for the group. Again, that is someone who is taking a leadership role. Vocal town (but not leaders) tend to be more focused on individuals rather than the cohesiveness and reactions of the group.

Ok, I must have misunderstood your question. My notes were taken in a reactionary fashion as I was reading the posts. If something in particular stood out as scummy, I said so in my notes. However, I know now that the read at the time would likely have been wrong unless the scums deliberately NKed at the start of the game.

If you think that I am town and presumably GR is town by your comments, then you should be putting a lot more effort into pushing Cephrir.

I'm not going to push you to claim whatever it was that happened and I'll factor in your confidence level but I cannot give much weight to what cannot be explained. However, if you are right, something about my process for labeling Garruk was scum, or he figured he could autoconfirm and therefore be completely anti-town. I don't know. I don't like internal dissonance.

GR, I am going to give you a clean slate for now. A hated fruit vendor etc. The role makes sense. I cannot see Tierce sticking her neck out this far for a scumbuddy. Plus I cannot imagine an NK day 1. The setup screams that you are town. Your actions scream scum.

Tierce, the one way I could see the scums "shooting" you on night 1 and motivating you is if they have a day rolecop. That's unlikely but possible. I don't see myself voting GR anytime soon. I just cannot move him to the town pile yet. That would require my reads being totally off or Garruk knowing he can be confirmed, which screams scum play. If the scums shoot you on n1 and motivate you, then they can ride GR as conftown until the end. It's unlikely but I just cannot start from a position that everything was so off given how right I was on quadz in my notes.

I agree with theory. However, this is different. GR reads scummy to me but Tierce, my biggest town read, clears him via night action.

PnJ has no such behavior clearing him and he reads scummy. I don't mind avague claim when it benefits town.

Tierce, I disagree with you. What if for a moment one was a traitor? The correct scum move upon our relevation that it was not a 1 v 1 was to weasel like they did here. If they suddenly drop the bus (like you are suggesting), it looks like exactly what it likely it was, a bus. There is no "clean break" IMO. Either you think someone is scum, or you don't and you're persuaded based on evidence.

1) The timing of your push on me. It reads as a deliberate attempt to push a mislynch through. It was utter crap and you both should have known that.

2) Your actual voting pattern doesn't mesh with how you claim your vote would be used.

Problem is until yesterday I had quadz pegged far on the town-side of things. So between him and SpyreX I've had two fairly confident town-reads be dead wrong. Plus the whole SD thing still makes my head hurt (Yes, the ninja thing very much bothers me to this point. Point for thought - quadz' cop claim semi-true and he awkardly 1v1'd an opposition scumbag to try and come to some sort of parity/get some association heat off of Chaos? The weird attempt-to-back down would then make some sense too,) and I'm not so easy to just go "Welp SD is town then," right now because of how much it bothers me. And then this Titus thing just ain't happening it seems. I've got "Zdenek read REALLY scummy to me." and "I blocked Titus N3 and there was no-kill N3." to go off of, and that's not buying the 9 other votes necessary.

So I probably really desperately need to re-read the past couple of days (D3-present is where my shit kinda falls apart) and compare them to where my head was at on D1-D2 and get myself squared away there. But the problem THERE is that I just don't have the time for that this week, so I'm kinda sheeping a few different townreads of varying shades, seeing what's compelling in thread to sway my vote and calling what I see in the moment for both the fact that it's things that look like bullshit and so I have something to work from when I can finally merge in the two halves of this game into one coherent non-clusterfuck, which will probably be sometime after Saturday.

So this is a really longwinded excuse as to why I'm doing nothing more than taking pot-shots at the moment and kinda just brainvomiting into the posting box.

This is usually where I try to throw out questions to get inside a player's head and have expectations of what the answer will be to determine alignment.

Naut could be third party with a defense mechanism that he had to get to L minus something before triggering the duel provisio (defense mechanism). I really can't see multiball on Day 6 with this few bodies.

@CEphir, yeah skip over the entire conversation Tierce GR and I had about his night actions screaming that GR is town. Yeah, GR is a scumread based on play but I'm not going to lynch someone unless I can come up with an explanation for that. You're also getting rather aggressive over a mistake that is clear by context. Naut dueled GnR who was likely the lynch anyway. Naut seized the GnR lynch making a duel between the two, thus preventing any rational discussion. Oh and you can't forget my favorite scumtell, distancing language. It's right about 75% of the time. Why don't you try reading and looking at context? Or is that too "stupid" for you?

Naut, the use of your duel power makes sense as scum. Goat was a universal scumread. Anyone who townread Goat had a read weaker than yours. Assuming arguendo that you're scum, that's the closest thing to a guaranteed mislynch and it draws head away from AB and Alchemst.

I also find it funny no one is discussing Alchemist that much.

As for your comment SafetyDance, fuck you. I have been the earliest pusher of AB although I didn't have a case like Desperado's.
