Do influential people always provide better arguments?

The only game that I've played with one of the colored names he was in our mafia faction and he was the only one of us to get lynched. It seemed that people were excited to play with him like he was a celeb or something but that didn't make them listen to him and it didn't stop them from stringing him up.

Being well known might be a handicap because people know your play style so well they can tell when you're full of it.
